Timber Wolf C(C) Worth Getting?

So I've been playing for about 3 months and am thinking about getting my firstclan mech. With the current champion sale on I noticed there is a TW (C) model. Is this worth getting as my first clan mech? Also I am in the process of eliting my Wolverines and am currently working on the 6K. I also noticed that the (C) model wolverine is the 6K. If I buy this will my existing xp transfer over? If so I may buy as it will have the xp c-bill bonus and I can sell the standard variant?
Cheers

champion versions don't buff c-bill earnings, you can easily fit any timber how the champion one is fitted too
if you want to spend so many $ better buy timber a la carte you will get 3 versions including +30% c-bills one for 55$

That CT energy point makes alot of builds possible.
It came down to a simple choice for me, Keep the S to have a permanent JJ in at all times, or have an extra CT energy point.
I don't think you can build a bad timberwolf.. well.. maybe the 4x LRM15

I made the mistake of buying a couple when i was a newbie and have regretted it ever since. There is no point whatsoever to have a mech that generates xp quicker as once you have leveled it, what else are you going to do with all that extra xp? Well, you could spend even more real money to convert it to gxp, but given how much you're going to be playing the game that little extra xp on one mech isn't going to be worth the money you spend.
If you're going to spend real money on clan mechs, buy the clan packs and get the invasion mechs. They are better value for money and they generate something extra that's worth it: c-bills.
EDIT: if you have MC to spend, use it for premium time and/or colours and camos. Anything else is a waste.

Check the gift store for ala-carte Timberwolves if you want to pour down more cash, but if you just want to burn your MC on a new mech (which is fine, I did that on a few mechs too that weren't even champions) then getting a Timberwolf isn't so bad. You might want to compare the MC price to a regular non-champion Timberwolf though and see if the upgrades are worth the extra cost.

$31.87 if you buy enough MC (12000) to get it in one go, to be precise.
Or "50 cents more expensive than the Boar's Head Atlas Hero Mech"

Long Answer: Don't bother
If you're grinding Timberwolves, you can get the C-bill version just fine or other Timberwolf variations with the CT Energy Hardpoint too (they are all effectively the same).

The experience bonus is negligble and once the mech is mastered, you will be mastering other mechs anyway.
It would be a better value to wait for an MC sale and pick up enough MC for some premium time. Once a year they do a MC sale with 20% bonus MC. Then again they offer 1yr premium time for 50% off for 12,000 MC. I mention this because the MC sale/ premium time sales usually come in the next 4 months around Black Friday and holiday sales.

This is your opinion. Value is inherently subjective and for some people there are more factors to consider.
Examples:
1) I've bought a couple of JR7-F(C)s and FS9-S(C)s on sale because I found the $2-$3 price tag to be worth it for the engine alone. The fact that I've run both of those mechs a lot past master and thus acquired more GXP thereby is just a small bonus.
2) For IS mechs, champions come with upgrades and gear. Depending on how you weight the value of your hours vs. your dollars, they can be totally worth it for the time savings they represent based on that alone.
The TBR-C(C) on sale for 3795 MC (~$13) is far from a crazy purchase. It's one of the best mechs in the game and normally costs over 15MM CB, which represents a substantial amount of time for most players to earn. The XP bonus is admittedly meh and unlike on an IS mech, you're not getting a ton of CB savings, but you do get a very solid build right out of the box.
As always, it has to be personally weighed. I won't buy one (despite loving my C and running it a lot) because I have two Ds and an A and don't need a fifth clone, but if I had one less, I'd be pretty tempted, actually. I know this is an unpopular opinion, but the common refrain of "never spend $/MC for what you can get for CB" isn't one that actually makes sense for everyone. I value my time pretty highly and don't mind using $ instead of hours in many instances.

IS medium and light champions often have improved torso twist speeds and arm movement speeds. So.. if you really like the Jenner JR7-F or Hunchback 4P getting that bonus is quite helpful.

Vs the standard variants? No they don't. You may have seen those in patch notes for champions but if you look in game they're there on standard variants too. The only mech that had a difference was the CPLT-A1(C) which was missing a module slot but that has been corrected.

Hmm... I could have sworn they used to... ah well, in that case they're only worth it if you want the equipment on them
