I'm sorry, but I don't see anything in there about Atlas pilots telling him where to go. Just that they didn't join him.

Is it really necessary to explain idiomatic phrases?

The commanding general of the SLDF decided to lead an exodus from the Inner Sphere. In the end, 80 percent followed him. Of those that did not go with him, more than two-thirds were Atlas pilots. The Atlas pilots stand out because they bucked the majority to stay behind, which can thus be summed up by saying they told Kerensky to sod off.

Clanners ... having no sense of humor and being overly literal since 1990 ... because test tube babies apparently do not understand humor or nuanced language.

You sure it wasn't more like "Go on with out us, we'll do what we can here." and not "Go **** your self sir!"?

I can sort of see an Atlas pilot being the type to say "Go **** yourself!" or any number of colorful insults as opposed to something polite. :P

The 3025 TRO does not mention anyone saying, "We'll do what we can here." It speculates that they perhaps thought they could personally gain by staying behind, but it does not delve into the speculation. There are not masses of descendants running around in Atlases trying to restore the Star League from the inside, so it seems a heck of a lot more probable that the ones that stayed behind thought Kerensky was nuts for devising Operation Exodus to begin with.

Its hard to decide between the two. On one hand The Clans are born Fighters and have the mindset to fight. On the other IS are more diverse. Both have Pros and Cons. My only issue with Clans are the Moral issues they bring up.

I like Clan Honor in theory, but not in the way they do seem to go about it-they seem to feel so entitled and arrogant (of course, many houses share these "virtues" as well.) I hate the way most clanners are bred into castes-a system I totally oppose by principle, since I am against the idea of innately "superior" individuals and the idea of selecting the "best genes" seem abhorrent to me (an established form of bigotry). Everybody should have a chance to shine by their own merits, regardless their bloodline and/or ancestry. I dislike most of IS's big houses dishonorable, treacherous ways. So I guess I don't really love either, but would choose the more "honorable" of the IS houses/merc units/periphery factions over the clanners. The clans may be powerful, have the most advanced technology, and be better trained (in general), but I just cannot relate to their cultural ways (they seem more alien than human to me.)

On this game's timeline, I would go Wolf's Dragoons in a heartbeat, or even the Taurian Concordat, but it seems they won't be available.

It seems the most honorable factions currently available on MWO will be House Marik and the Free Rasalhague Republic. I will probably go for the Free Worlds League if no other more honorable faction is playable. Of course this is only my opinion, so don't take it personally, and enjoy playing the game for the factions you love. :)

IS all the way! Clans have nice tech, background and other stuff but IS has the heart, fighting for their homes and all that.

Neither of them, I am a Periphery pirate.

Free from the tyranny of both the Clans and the Inner Sphere.

Clan have nice mechs but if it wasn't for the IS then there would be not clan. So looking at the battlemaster built with IS tech vs the clan madcat. the answer is IS. long live the Great house of Hellcats.

Inner Sphere.
I may be a Kerensky, but some of us remember the duty we owe to the people of the Star League, and their descendants in the Inner Sphere.

Traitor. If you want to help the clans go join a Warden clan or a merc company like Wolf's Dragoons or Kell Hounds.

Read your lore before you put your foot in your mouth again! From the 3025 TRO (pp. 122): "Considering the Atlas' raw power, it is no wonder that Kerensky wanted all Atlases to accompany him into his self-imposed exile. Oddly, more than two-thirds of the pilots who refused to join him were Atlas pilots." Atlas pilots told him where he could go then, and they will tell the Clanners where to go now.

Fine then we shall bring the Atlas II and crush your sorry ***.
"In 2785, when General Aleksandr Kerensky put out his call for loyal forces to join him in his Exodus, every Atlas II pilot responded and left with him, leaving none of these designs behind. These 'Mechs are prized by the Clans when they were found."

Revisionist claptrap born from the DA/Jihad nonsense. Made no sense to just rewrite history and put Nicholas Kerensky into an Atlas II, or to claim that at least one Atlas II was seen during the Battle of Tukayyid.
