You slide it back in time to the old "blue" heat vision.

The new heat vision wouldn't be so bad if it worked beyond 500 meters. I have a really hard time seeing anything other than up close targets with it. If they are in my face, I really don't need heat vision to see them. I feel it needs to work better at long range targets, where you actually need it to see them.

Predator Vision was the s**t.

No more so than playing on Low settings.

Which is also pathetic, but that one is more on the devs for not making sure that the game on lower settings provides all of the same handicaps that playing on higher settings does.

The number one reason I don't play MW:O as often as I used to is due to all the dark/night maps. My eyes aren't terribly good, and it's a real strain (and pretty damn annoying) staring and squinting at the screen all the time. Gives me headaches. I don't think it adds anything to the game, except as a justification for their inclusion of night and thermal vision. I wish all maps were like Canyon- bright and easy to see. However, I fear that all maps will soon have night/day cycles and be nearly unplayable for me. I hope I get to play around with my Crab a few times before that happens and I am forced to leave MWO for good.

Anybody else leave night vision on the whole time they play the new River City? Sometimes I feel silly when I power down and notice it's day time. That night vision effect might need some adjusting if I can't even tell whether it's day or night.

but maybe it's just me

Sounds like just you, the lighting change is pretty noticable in NV once the sun rises.
