HOnestly when I look back to the beginning I am kind of embarrassed I used to care that much. I guess it was just so new and we waited so long....even though it launched pretty minimal it was new after all. If I had known it would be so featureless even after 8 months maybe it could have tempered some of that initial enthusiasm.

Ripping through CGB completely without meaningful resistance is still the most fun I have ever had in CW though.

This sorta sums up CW as it is now. There's a thread of NKVA trash talking (entertainingly so) on the Clan Wolf forum and here. With no response from Wolf - why should they? At this point CW isn't even worth arguing over.

THAT, at its core, is the issue. PGI has made ghost drops into weaponized boredom and making the enemy not have anyone to play with is the single best defense. When you win fights you get.... some cbills and XP, only it takes longer than pug/group queue.

We've reached a point where CW isn't even worth trash talking over. That is its own sort of sad.

There's only a few changes since Beta 1 and Beta 2... only one thing was for the better (better spawns), but the rest for the worse...

Increased ghost drop parameters (Ghost Dropping on Defense for Beaons... wtf?)

The flipping between Invasion+Counter (slowing capping a planet through not showing up on defense)

Grouping all Omega-gens around Omega (think of the MFB in Counterattack mode). What's the point?

Simply meaningless... and the hardcore unit event was the height of this.

I may have some of the changes in the wrong timeline, but the reality is that CW hasn't really changed positively and fundamentally... so the majority of us are bored to death of CW (the burnout is real).

What part of, "as a solo player", do you not seem to understand? I am perfectly capable of grouping up when/if the mood takes me. Doesn't solve the problem when the mood doesn't. The mood rarely takes me nowadays, mostly due, again, to the time involved between bouts of actually shooting at Big Stompy Robots.

Ya know, CW should have an affect on the regular game. maybe a % increase in cbills or exp based on some mechanic surrounding owned planets.

That ghost drop on defense, blowing apart beacons, is just the WORST game idea I had seen in a VERY long time.

If I'm posting on this forum, I have no time, and more importantly no computer on which to play the game. Why does my post count bother you anyway? I can assure you my number of matches played trumps it several times over.

I noticed so little difference between Beta 1 and 2 it might as well still be just a dream.

Sick of assault the wall, assault the gun, assault the pointless landing pod....

Phase 3 needs REAL objectives, more of them, and planets that have value.

The Op was speaking of what it might take to get us to participate and I responded in kind. It really is as simple as wait time. I've enjoyed the matches I've been able to play. Waits of 10+ minutes keep me from doing so, nothing more.

It not a complaint. It's simply the reason I don't play it. If there are enough 12-mans to run CW then my lack of participation and the reasoning behind it doesn't matter does it?
