A 12 man has a waiting time of 1 minute. So if you are not willing to compromise to drop with 11 other people, then deal with waiting times of 10+. Your complaint is ridiculous. It really is.

Not everyone always at every moment of their time on the game have 11 other players online and ready to group up and play a match of CW... at all given times of the day.

Though I do agree that CW is aimed more for groups, as it should be, there should also be a reasonable expectations for smaller groups and solo players. Then again, it is Beta and we do have decent information now on where the action is (or is not). Still doesn't always make the wait times any lower.

PS: I've been in a 12 man that waited almost 10 minutes for a match before. Group size doesn't always matter if the other side of the combat zone doesn't have 12 people ready for the match as well. This means, "your statement is ridiculous" (to quote your expression).

It not a complaint. It's simply the reason I don't play it. If there are enough 12-mans to run CW then my lack of participation and the reasoning behind it doesn't matter does it?

This response sums up why the attitude of 'join a group' is a flat out stupid argument. It's not an argument, it's a non-argument.

Waits to get in games is a significant issue that needs addressed. The ability to play with a team is not predicated by you joining a unit and coordinating 11 other people before you start to play the game.

the banter and funny memes helped pass the time, but they couldn't cover over the flaws of cw forever. currently I only need a week worth of watching the grass grow before I climb on the lawmower and ride circles round and round, that's far less time waiting and much more long lasting entertaining than waiting on a cw match.

This is why I compared your CW match amount to your counter of forum posts.

Did your unit ever try to attack an enemy? Does your unit have skillfull diplomats with contacts to all relevant CW units?

It doesn't need to be adressed. Period. It is fine as it is for those who play CW. It just needs more people who are willing to use their brain AND socialize IN the game than those who do NONE of these HERE in the forum.

This is the COMMUNITY WARFARE subforum and you guys speak about the random pug queue. Learn the difference.

Have you heard of the Seraphim? I'd like to say we have very strong contacts with many different units within the game. We even have a strong CW company within the unit that plays CW a lot. I've joined them many times. Still, sometimes the queue times, even when attacking a busy world, can be a bit longish.

CW may be for units and large groups, but smaller groups and PUGs should at least be in consideration on some things, such as long wait times. Not resetting your position in the queue when one person drops out of the queue was a great step. Otherwise, you could sit there, get to be second group to "launch" in the planet queue, have someone drop out, and then fall back to 4th in line to queue for the planet (or even farther back). This could make what would have been a 2 minute wait into 30+ minutes of jumping around the queue and being constantly reset as one person gets tired of waiting, drops out, and you reset. (It's happened to me during several of the CW events. Made it very difficult to find a match when it/people did that.)

Of course you have long waiting times on busy planets because the community complained about losing slots to ghost drops. Now this is an argument of not playing CW?

Ghost drops and "busy planets" seem to be a contradictory statement... Busy as in "There are 48 attackers on this planet, I should go defend it seen as we have 44 defenders there", and then wait for 10+ minutes as you have (one) player(s) who keeps jumping in and dropping out of the queue constantly, resetting your place in the queue as another 12 man may form and take your waiting spot. (Before they fixed that.)

Or... am I the only one that seems to see or have this happen to, particularly when I'm not in a full 12 man group? Need I even remind of the wait times for the Turrkayid event? There should have been enough players on each side to fill those queues, but instead I ended up waiting for extreme amounts of time to get a match, even when I did drop a few times in a 12 man from my unit... (We were IS.)

I remember just one unit in CW Beta 1 without any manners. During that time...these nice unit played. Now they mainly hide below rocks. Forum trolls only.
This does not change the why peopel play. Gamemechanics and Events change the ammount of players in CW..and for shure the weather.
