Ferro-Fibrous Armor (FF) is an advanced armor technology. Utilizing a weave of ferro-steel, ferro-titanium and diamond weave fibers (which boosts the tensile strength of the plating) it provides more protection per ton than Standard Armor. With the same amount of protection, the material is lighter, but larger, and therefore takes up more space on the mounted vessel.

...That will hopefully end this.

Obviously you did not.. or you would have noted they are talking about TOURNAMENT rules. NOT Original standard rules. In fact it even specifies it was originally was allocated under the "Rules 2" specs.
One thing I will say you are right on was that there were some differing types in the TABLE TOP versions later on which I was not aware of. Even so, that was NOT the case ORIGINALLY as I stated. It was added LATER after the Clan invasion releases not prior to it.
It has become apparent to me you are nit picking very specific points for whatever reason you have just to have an argument. This WAS a discussion but instead of it remaining that, you decided to interject with insults and condescending comments.
In the long run, it does not matter. Today for the sake of THIS GAME, there are TWO armor types PERIOD. Standard and FF. From what I understood regarding THIS game AS I SAID, current FF gave a better protection rating AND less weight which is or was the same intent under the original Battletech system.
I tired of this and you... let's get back to the actual discussion and if that is not possible for you, then go elsewhere..
So, let me get this straight... After I point out just how wrong you are, you are still trying to convince... I don't know who you are trying to convince... Seriously, just be an adult an own your errors.

People are clearly aimbot one-shotting this guy through his enhanced FF armor. How could anyone dispute these anecdotes that are so clearly rock solid.
From now on, I will report everyone who kills me with Guass for cheating. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, gentlemen.

Why are you being such a poop?
Malakie is just unhappy about what he perceives to be a problem.
You condescended and defended known cheaters. Do you fiddle with bot programs yourself?
His "lack" of TT technical sophistication doesn't invalidate his complaint. Certainly you can move on if you disagree. He never accused you of anything. You just came in trolling.

Why the threats? He wasnt making a dangerous comment, he just pointed out the common behavior of cheats.
Epic off topic trolling in this topic for anyone not happy with cheaters in this game.
To the guy that was quoted, aim bots act as wall hacks also and I think some are using them just for the wall hacking aspects.
I also suspect it is showing target condition also. But that may just be rats giving team mates position and condition away. This problem could account for many wrong assumptions of hacks being used as well.
Lag also can make it look like a hack is being used when it isnt the case. Just some things to keep in mind.
I will repeat though, to be clear cheats programs are being used and not uncommonly and players have been banned for such it seems so this topic is completely valid and many of the complaints justified.

Threat =/= warning.
What i did was a warning (based on my own experience with the same doodo)... he followed it up with something more blatant and probably got in mod trouble (his posts got deleted)

And focus fire is real
And if you are dropping alone in CW expecting a balanced match, forget it,elo does not reign there.
Anything under 65 tonnes can be oneshotted by laser+gauss dire wolf with relative ease if the victim refuses to torso twist.

Just got a reply from the devs so after this, as far as I am concerned, the conversation is complete.
I am unable to give specifics of my conversation with them but they are fully aware of the two hacks out there of course. They are NOT currently aware of any other hacks but are actively watching and monitoring for such things constantly.
I will not talk about names or clans NOR the comments the devs had regarding any specific groups or players... in the discussion I had with the devs but they are aware of them. While they also cannot disclose their internal investigations and monitoring they did satisfy me in the fact they ARE doing so. I was also given some tips on what to watch for, what to log/track for any future concerns IF this happens again or continues.
They also did say some of the issues are possibly also related to engineering changes they have made and continue to refine, specifically to damage and targeting. They said it is an ongoing process of course in that regard. Of course that cannot answer some of the issues nor would it be something that caused repeated advantages.. i.e. if say a hit occurred that gave more damage or hit a location that should not have been hit, it would not CONTINUE to do so over and over because of the movement, torso turn and other factors.
They also said this particular thing can also be impacted by PING rates for people with that issue. In my case, not an issue since testing shows I am averaging 30-40ms ping from a 1 gig dedicated fiber connection. But for some others with high pings, this issue could actually be exacerbated.
Anyhow, I am satisfied with the reply. I am confident the devs are doing everything they can and monitoring the situation(s) constantly and are aware of certain issues.
So, for me, this conversation for now is put to rest.

Did a moderator delete my posts? I wasn't naming/shaming that I know of.

If you feel like something is out of place, download Bandicam, record it, upload it to YouTube or tinypic, file a support ticket highlighting suspicious moments.

well you did; your screenshots had the names of those whom you blamed in cheating, and probably without any reason since those screenshots were explained to you

I didn't even think about there being names, I wasn't actually calling them cheaters I was saying that my deaths seemed suspicious and people had conversation about it and not about who did what.
Just found it odd that a moderator deleted my post without giving me a private message regarding what I did wrong.

When I see certain players I klnow I will be HS with a 100% chance from miles away, so I just disconnect. Just keep an eye on how you died and by wich player and you will soon realise that infact some of the top players are not legit at all (you can even see it in theyr streams from time to time).
But there is nothing you can do against it at all unless PGI spends hours and hours of time and alot of money. And even functions like PB has with taking screenshots does not work, because of using f.e. an Iphone as a ESP directly hooked to your pc (thats how streamers do it, or on theyr 2. screen). Sad but you have to live with it in any game that has MP on the market.
And MWO is a FTP so if they got caught they just gonna do a new account and continue, there is even a subculture of making collages and videos of players raging just for the luls.
TL/DR
If you don't want to play with non legit players in any game, play singleplayer games and never any MP game at all. You simply can not stop cheaters/scriptkiddies at all. Sad but true!

btw, if you think your screenshots were harmless... you are wrong
i recently met on the enemy team one of those people from your screenshots and, just as a joke, mentioned it in our team chat, so that person wouldn't see it and didn't think i blamed them, another person on my team didn't get my irony and began to loudly blame them in the all chat, i felt like a fool and tried to explain there was no proof or something but to no avail
i'm not against screenshots with proper proofs... but yours were a very clear example of the very worst kind of naming and shaming, they were a defamation; well, i'm a fool too since i forgot how people are touchy on that matter, especially since our team was stomped

You realize I was considering the bug part of the discussion. I never said anyone was cheating or anything remotely like that.
bad arcade kitty, I generally dislike your posts. I find you unsavory as a character and don't want to continue this conversation at all.
The fact that you're exaggerating what I did is ridiculous.
