Me and BanditB17 put together this work about the competetive scene of MWO.

This video is completely made of real MRBC matches, both Audio and Video are 100% real (except the music, ha).

I hope you like it!

(Units, you can use this to promote the comp. scene. Just please use that link, dont reupload it)

Very well done! It catches everything perfectly: the tension before a fight, the concentration while you carefully close in on your opponent, the hectic that arises when the actual combat starts and the relieve when the match is finally over - simply spoken, the video perfectly catches the whole atmosphere of a competitive match!

We are proud that [MERC] had the opportunity to be a part of this! Absolutely fantastic Video... Thanks!

Greetings to all the other teams that have participated in MRBC Season 5!

That was made incredibly well!

Were people using the spectator modes and you got the footage from them? Because those guys that took the videos did a stellar job as well to give you nice material. (I haven't been watching the videos page of MRBC's site, lol)

I've been staying up very late to film as much matches as I could. All by myself :)

The same style of video started in eve-online, recording actual game footage and the VOIP of the players at the same time, that was a while ago. MWO does not have anything like the risk/reward dynamic or excitement of eve-online. MWO has nothing to build, nothing to lose if you die, no space to explore, and nothing meaningful to do with your group. Your video effort is commendable, it lacks any 'cool' factor, as is the status of MWO. Posted Image

It's MRBC its league, so there is to lose and to gain.

P.S. my unit that week in MRBC, was fighting to maintain the top position in our division, so we did have a few weeks of investment to lose. We also took risks in allowing some of our less experienced drop commanders call for some of our matches. They were rewarded for their efforts. So while I don't think this even is supposed to compare to the depth of Eve, suck it, Cruise, it's not all empty. =P

I wasn't aware of the Eve video which some said inspired this but if you guys mean this vid then I say that in a way, Iqfish/Bandit17's video is better produced!

Really enjoyed the vid; I've had to take some time away for a bit and watching vids is my only option right now.

I'm looking forward to what you'll cut out of the new spectator mode, fish,
PGI should give you something in return for this kind of outstanding publicity for MWO.
