so many times NO.
lol you know why it feels like this ? 10x the ttk or even more, weapons going anywhre, but not at the target. Peopel would hate it.
What looks cool like this wouldn't play like this, and if it is forced to play like this most would not like it.
Maybe not exactly like the bouncing around bauble-head BattleMech like what is shown in this trailer... but a single or co-op experience/campaign with immersion. Imagine if your monitors actually showed useful information!

We pugs ran into the 12DG I typed my customary "Crap"
We lost but it was not a roll stomp
There is a difference between losing to a better team with skilled players
And the roll flippin stomping we were getting back in Jan
When I say roll flippin stomp that is an understatement of how bad it was
Losing to a highly skilled team is actually a learning experience
And we got to fire our weapons
I think we got 15 or so kills

Yeah.
Who the hell thought that was a good idea?
This is a first person 'mech game! Not a damn chokepoint funhouse simulator.

You know, lower TTK would actually improve tactics and teamplay. Just imagine someone calls for help and you can actually get there in time before he's torn up...

That's hard work
PGI has to hand hold and spoon feed a match on favorite maps only against only unorganized and teamwork devoid pugs and skip matches against premades or skip only certain Units.

Yea, got to be careful of those pugs. If they decide to use teamwork while your pug team does not, you will get stomped by pugs. Worse yet, if your pug team has no teamwork and you go against an evil solo 12 man and they use teamwork, you are going to get stomped.
So, you have to be careful of PUGs, SOLOs, and Premades if they use teamwork while your team does not.
So, maybe ask the other team if they are going to use teamwork or not right off the bat.
If they say No, then you know your team has to - or roll the dice and hope your lucky. If they say Yes, then you can just DC right away and not have to worry about getting stomped by a pug, solo, or premade team using teamwork.
Maybe a checkbox for Teamwork? Turn it off and just like solo queue but chat disabled, no voip.
Should make the LCD gamers happy.

Yea, Steiner don't like to play CW at 11pm on a Thursday night?
They sure are reaping at that time of night!
How many online in YOUR Faction at 11pm on a weeknight? Can you even manage 150 at 11pm on a weeknight?

Should join for WNW.
There you do not have to imagine. There, when playing as part of a team, when you call for help it is already there because none of your team left you.

As for wait times, this is high due to lack of players. So if you want to muster players; get together with friends, use your Faction chat tab and rally players to the planet you want to go to. If you are in a Unit get on your TS and get a CW group going, if you are not in a Unit you can do the same using your Factions public TS server.
It can be done, if we are willing to put the effort in.
