If the Dunning-Kruger effect hadn't already been found, then this forum had been the midwife for it ..

CW was always a forum game. Just that we combined it with the limited game that existed at cw release and stirred it with a "reason to actually play will be out soon" swizzle stick. That was about a year ago.

I get priorities, changing staff, etc. etc. I do. At this point though if I worked at pgi and had left undelivered promises hanging or a mostly incomplete project dangling critical factors missing for a year I'd expect to take a lot of crap. CW is 2 years later and missing a ton of promised content. At a point along that process the "why" stopped being important.

CW is still more fun than the forums.. in CW you can only kill someone 4 times.. in the forums.. the a-holes respawn with every post..

At least the match maker seems to be more balanced in CW then Group Que. (There is no match maker in CW)

From its inception CW was never going to be important, we debated this way back then remember? an RvR system that works on Pug drops Decided by the Ai is never going to be relevant.

IMO.
If Nbt gets even a minor foothold, kiss CW goodbye and maybe even the group Q.
But Nbt has a hard road (again imo, i wish them lots luck) without a public chat/lobby system its going to be tough to build a decently large community.

Hey. Stop that. "You would", not "you'd". Clanners don't use contractions. This is Forum CW. It's serious business. This is Forum CW peak meta and failing to adhere to it can create serious problems.

Be glad you didn't use a slang coloquialism contraction of something, like, say, "both of". I hear that can get you in serious trouble.

So someone being better than you implies he is hacking? Except for your complain about having 20 kills I could not find something regarding another hack wave...

Sure no one actually knows what's happening on the other side of that game .. but I can't believe all those "hackusations" on the forums.

I saw someone do 108 damage with 4 mechs and insist he was doing quite well if not carrying our team with his 4 small laser cicada-2b.

So yeah, unless you are dropping with a team of some sort - the forums are much more entertaining.

edit - seriously averaging 29 damage per mech... smh. that's why cw needs some sort of a gate before players can hop in.
