Over time i must have bought 6+ chassic unlock when i was not careful or drunk. You chose and click single shot but if you dont refresh the screen and redo your camo, it will go as a chassis unlock and charge you 750. I discovered some i didnt know about on my BJ1 recently.

My fault for not being suspicious about PGI business...

the pig was not intended.

They did when they allowed you to buy camos for one-shot.

one shot camos have never gone on sale, they always try to convince you to go the unlock for chassi method which is just even at half price way over priced.

I don't care about being able to chop and change camo's I'm clan, i wear my camo with pride, plus you have no idea of what your playing so there is no need or use to even try and have a camo scheme for a certain map style.

If PGI ever gets around to being able to save multiple camo schemes and pick which to use for what map your playing on then chassis unlock would be useful, until then, one shot only!

Also let me be clear. I'll pay for camo, no problem. But once I unlock it, it stays unlocked for every compatible mech. Colors shouldn't cost anything! Screw you for charging for colors!

But camo takes work. Jack the price for camos, 1700mc for a universal unlock if one pattern for all mechs that have it, 200 for a one shot. For that mech chassis and it's variants only, 50 Mc for a single mech camo unlock for one mech only.

Brilliant! Make it happen!

Sad to think people would buy the unlock for a chassis.

I see the Urban mech gets a faction camo review and yet they want me to buy unlocks for chassis but still have my prime variant clan mechs locked out.

Paying for paint or camo is ridiculous. Back in the day camo and paint came with the game for free! (after you bought the game)

And we could even make our own!

Back in our day we didn't have a free to play model either.

Well, if it only cost 1 MC, i don't think anyone would refuse, hahaha

But seriously. Most MC prices are way out of wack. From the mechs being cheaper to buy a la carte, than they are in-game, to the camos being so overpriced that you're better off applying one-shots to every single one of your mechs.

That's a problem, because the high prices, really don't allow for "impulse purchases", which is why cheap games on Steam and TF2 hats and sh*t sell well. They're cheap enough, for the person to look at it, and go "oh that's pretty cheap, i'll take 10!" instead of "I don't know, it's kind of expensive and i'm not sure i even want it"

Actually, they are planning on making all "Special" variants, like Heros, Invasion, Resistance, et cetera, capable of using basic camo patterns. It's just going to take them some time to do it.

I wish they did this. Some of the special variant camos are godawful (I'm talking to you, Arrow). I'd pay real, hard-earned € to use the basic pattern instead.

I agree on this. At least in my case, if they lowered the prices of stuff like camos and colours, they'd probably get more money from me in the end. A steady slow trickle, whereas with the current MC prices I just can't justify it at all.

PGI got rid of IGP was a perfect time to readjust the pricing scale but alas they didn't

PGI has no excuse about it being IGP fault these days and PGI doesn't understand the idea of micro transactions.

Even if we have to keep prices high for mech, which btw, i think it stupid that a la carte is cheaper than buying them in mechlab which seems PGI is happy to let customers make bad spending choices they could learn to reduce the price of unlocks to a reasonable price, or they have to get around to getting these invasion variants camo viable as why am i going to spend money to unlcok a camo for chassis when 1/3 of them still can't use it till they get around to doing it

Also not, The urbie mech got a camo do over in this patch and yet clan invasion mechs from wave still haven't? please stop being so IS biased PGI.

Actually, Urbie had the faction camos already (since its release). But they were only one-shots. You couldn't buy them permanently.
So yeah.

I have never, and will never, ever, buy a chassis unlock because they are daylight robbery. I just 1 shot a mech I know i'm going to keep.

Oh, wait. I forgot. The 1st purchase I ever made in MWO WAS a chassis unlock, because I thought it was a global unlock (there is no indication in game, at least there wasnt at the time, that it wasnt like colours). Fool me once!
