You need to read the whole thread, he later states that it is players that have no interest in working as part of a team that "should stay out of CW".
Yes, he did later change his tune. The problem is it took him a while to evolve to that point, and even then he gave you the impression that THAT was his initial thoughts on the matter, you just didn't get it at first. Even though his original post he stated pretty clearly that solo players shouldn't be allowed in CW. Eventually he just redefined the word "solo" to the point that it was wholly inconsistent with his first post.

Why on earth do you even give him the time of day? Do what you want to do, this game was designed to allow you access to CW as a solo, in whatever 4 mechs you can bring within tonnage.
I stopped when he kept moving the goal post and changing the definitions of words to suit his position at any given time within the same thread.

It feels like you only figured out what your core point was about halfway through (the thread, not the first post) and then decided that anyone who didn't get it right away is totes stupid.
Pretty much. It was a rather drastic evolution, all the while steadfastly refusing to admit that an evolution in his thinking had even taken place. First it was that solo players should be forbidden from dropping in CW, then it changed to there's no such thing as solo players at all, everyone is on a team. Which not only goes against the universally accepted use of the term "solo player" but also completely invalidated his original point, all the while pretending that was his original point all along.
