Timberwolf-A been having lots of fun with this today. Its a strange lop-sided build, but it works.
Basically 3 ER-PPC in the left torso and 3 ER-S lasers evenly spread as back ups.

One of my favorite builds is simply 2 erppc timber. However, ppc's have been so flakey lately, that it can be hit and miss. When ppc velocity was 1500, it was more reliable. It's not necessarily the speed of ppc, but the speed of the ppc's and how they interact with the hit reg system. The faster the velocity means there are less "iffy" situations, as in its usually a clearer hit or not. The other day I pulled the build out and while battling an enforcer, I sent 2 pairs of 2 ppc shots, directly to torso. Both clearly hit the mech on center and went straight though. No hit marker. And oddly in that instance the mech was moving towards me, not laterally. It's just so inconsistent.
For the record I've consistently done 900-1200 damage games with just 2 erppc's. That is much more difficult at this time though. The bump to 1200 m/s helped, but I think they really need to be 1500 m/s to be more stable / consistent.

I have been running 2 x Uac10 + 3 ErMl. The leftover tonnage in ammo. I have been doing very nicely with this ... best score close to 900 with 6 kills ..

Nice. Another favorite of mine is 2 uac10 and 4 small laser. Very similar.
