I want to be the very best,
That no Mechwarrior ever was.
To grind them is my real test,
To master them is my cause.
I will travel across the maps,
Pugging far and wide.
Teach Pokemechs to understand,
The meta that's inside.
Pokemechs (gotta grind 'em all), it's you and me,
I know it's my destiny.
(Pokemechs!)
Oooh you're my best mech,
In a base we must defend.
Pokemechs (gotta grind 'em all), a hitbox so true,
Our consumables will pull us through.
You friend me and I'll friend you
Po-ke-mechs
(Gotta grind 'em all!)
Gotta grind 'em all
Pokemechs!
I write sci-fi, because you were so nice, here is mine...
Specks of light began to flicker and dance, coalescing and shimmering into first the form, then the mass of a vast deep-space mining ship. Its bloated hull, the shape of a curved brick, lay two miles long, one mile wide and half a mile deep, and oscillated with patterns of light that gave warning of its presence. Along the sides were huge doors capable of swallowing small asteroids whole, and at the front were pulse lasers and projectile cannons for breaking apart larger asteroids or gouging into moons. Separating the mining apparatus from the rest of the ship was a bulwark that jutted up with a ramp attached on the other side. The ramp sloped down to form part of the mile long emergency landing strip that ended with the multi-storey hangars for smaller ships. In those hangars were the survey ships, mining ships, tugs, and the collectors, which could be fitted to ferry ore, gas or liquid. After the hangars came the workshops and stores, containing not just supplies and repair equipment, but everything required to set-up surface mining works, followed by the raised tower of the command deck, habitation modules, and an emergency shuttle bay.
