This isn't MWO related, but it's pretty funny! It's a 4 1/2 minute video of a parody side mission from Far Cry 3: Blood Dragons. The objective is to kill a bunch of turtles, and the parody is, of course, the Ninja Turtles.
Ironically though, the turtles turn out to be tortoises. I felt bad after killing the first one, but then quickly learned how evil the tortoises actually were as I stumbled through their devious traps down in the sewers!

Well, TBRN and BOSS paired up to run drops together last night. We stumbled into a set of three drops alongside the Unit -BW-. I've seen them in game frequently before. While they've never done anything remarkable, or behaved in any way to make me like them, it can also be said that I've never had any reason to dislike them.
That all changed last night though.
First up, we had this drop:
In this drop, TBRN and BOSS kill-carried for -BW- by securing 9 kills and holding back a bunch of attempted flanks. We were mostly running light-weight Mechs with short-range armaments, so we did what we do best: We harassed, brawled, and spotted. We were also very effective. We weren't afraid to charge either. When -BW- called for a push and asked us to support, TBRN and BOSS formed the spearhead, and paid heavily for it. In the end, we won and everyone had a good time.
...Or so we thought!
The second match saw my client disconnect, so I spent most of it logging back into the game. Apparently, while I was disco'd, -BW- began smack-talking TBRN. Curiously enough, they left my fellow Unit buddy (there were only two of us repping for TBRN that night) out of the harassment. It was mainly directed at me. This continued throughout the match, even after I rejoined. The match was an abject failure, with -BW- failing to put up any decent scores and creating confusion with contradictory directions which led to a sad defeat. Once again, TBRN and BOSS formed the spearhead for the push, but -BW- decided not to go through with the push, instead choosing to manipulate us and leave us hanging. It was an incredibly bad display of teamwork and sportsmanship that actually managed to anger me.
Then, this happened:
TBRN and BOSS lucked out in that -BW- was placed on Red Team this time. That meant that a significant handicap had been removed from us while also providing us with an opportunity to make -BW- eat crow. And let me tell you, it was a feast! We actively hunted them across the map, slaughtering them wherever they stood. I scored 6 kills myself, 5 of which were against -BW- and its 7-man team. That match, all the harassment stopped and they went silent.
So, all that to say, -BW- has been blacklisted in my book now as a Unit of loudmouths that can't back up anything they say, harass the people who carry them, and are generally unfriendly. It felt really good to sock it to them and get back some of our own in the end!
