Decals

In fact, we've been promised two things:
1) the Flea> No sign nor any mention of it's release or development.
2) Decals> The reason for me posting here.
Sorry, guys, and I know I'm being a total trolling pest here, but those things were promised to us,a dn PGI needs to keep its word and faith with those who have bought over $800's worth of packages, both Clan and Inner Sphere, and yes, I know.
You nay saying trolls are out there. I've seen your forum posts.
I still believe in this game and want to keep supporting it, but seriously, PGI, keep faith with not just me nor just one single player. Rather with all of us players who are there to support and keep this game going. Give to us, what was promised. And you'll see a change in attitude, I promise you that.
Also, releasing the Unseen `Mechs such as the Marauder and War Hammer, will definitely go a long way in repair your PR.
Thank you. And God Bless.

We literally are still getting UI updates (yet another one with today's patch.)
They have said gameplay functionality is pretty much there now, but they need to get all the corresponding UI to support it on the front end now set up.
So I guess the bigger question is, with the current UI improvements released with this patch, is the UI FINALLY good enough to move the hell away from having it be a time suck for the UI designer, and we can now crack on with something new?

Well, we do have MASC now (which was one of the stumbling blocks). If Sean Lang is to be believed, this new big balance overhaul should see more role warfare orientated quirks including more information warfare orientated quirks for light mechs.
If that is true, that may give more purpose to a light mech like the Flea that really can't do much attack wise.
I think there may be hope at least that it could be added. Only real negative is the speed cap due to the game engine limitations. If MASC can't move the Flea faster, does it really need accel/decel boosts? I mean the Locust can snap accelerate and decelerate as it is without it.
Still, maybe a glimmer of hope for those who really want the Flea.

Personally I don't call asking about something that has been promised, trolling. I call that "reminding", or "requesting an update".

Seriously I think the decals will make the mechs look 10x better. Detail.

I remember seeing similar things said about the Urbanmech. Never say never.
If it can rally a lot of support like the Urbie, it could happen.
But yes, I wouldn't hold my breath.

The Urbinator is at least a lot more unique (trashcan shape, slow IS 30 tonner with high mounts and big dakka, 360 twist) and iconic.
The Flea on the other hand is a somewhat obscure mech that was never famous in BT, but somehow a handful of people on the MWO forums decided that one day "Hey, let's form a fanclub for that mech that only a handful of people care about!".
The Flea is just a Locust with a slightly lower engine cap, that's it. Don't say MASC, because we've already seen from the Shadow Cat that MASC is useless on mechs that already have high base agility (20 tons is the most agile type of mech by default, meaning MASC will do absolutely nothing for it).

I 100% agree.
My point was though, that the tools are in place now for the Flea. If the population wants it bad enough and rallies behind it enough (like the Urbie), it could happen as the Urbie did.
However, the Urbie was VERY unique, and that is why the community was so vocal. The Flea isn't that unique other than MASC, doesn't seem to garner that much community support except for a few (like cdlord

Î think that most of $800's from all money spenders was spent on developing a rating system, then binnig it and developing another rating system. Decals in the foreseeable future? not likely

decals will be nice, but I doubt we get our own images on it, at least not without some kind of moderation. Too much prudery on the other side of the big lake for a free decal system.
Just think about all those awesomes with big juicy boobs on it
