im glad to see the cave gone, it didnt really add anything beneficial to the map

I do however hope they keep the cave in frozen city and expand it out to be a large multi-level cave system

Yeah, that would be cool. Make the caves run all up and around the outer edges of the maps, with maybe even places to get up on the top of the canyon walls.

I made many maps for mw4, if you played that game...you have played maps that I created. The primary map building advantage over mw4, is not textures or graphics..it is the abilitY to have multilayer terrain ..or caves.

The cave was where the misty pond is now.

No tunnel, but many instances similar to the Frozen City setup.

There are a number of very narrow roads with high cliffs on both sides high enough that JJ are useless (its like you hit an invisible roof and cannot elevate any further). They are definitely death traps. So narrow that you can't get out of each others way. At least you had a little room in the tunnel to move around each other. They are, in essence, like Frozen City. A well lit, very dangerous, roofless tunnel.

It's just not the same.

If that is the sacrifice of putting this map on a 15 by 15 grid only sleightly smaller than Alpine... I would say it is a major positive.

The cave was obsoleted by Seismic Sensor, so why keep it?

I don't know about you guys, but I remember the cave back in the early Beta.

It was a beautiful thing, sincerely. Since the graphics were dumbed down...it's never been the same. Too much haze to actually see the waterfalls. It's sad, but it needed to go.

If you wanted to know who was a crappy player, all you had to do was either watch who went into the tunnel, or see who said "tunnel clear!". It was a noob magnet. Nothing more.
