This new system will not change the overall outcome of games.

Yeah **** happens, people make mistakes, people are low on sleep and just had 5 beers and aren't playing really smart. Maybe people have a cat sitting in their lap, kneading their leg. Maybe someone is just kicking back and watching TV and playing MWO on the side. So many variables. Just because someone is good doesn't mean they are on their A game 100% of the time.

Which is why this is much ado about BS and the game needed[needs] casual and comp queue.
At least they didn't tier mechs, cuz I'd have already been out the door without a sound.

Yeah, there is probably rationale for not having casual and comp queue, probably having to do with buckets.

I think Escef and Soy might be right though. I was probably mistaken in thinking closing the skill gap in matches would lead to consistently close matches: too many variables it would seem.

Tier 1 players will also see Tier 2 and 3 players. Obviously there aren't going to be 12 Tier 1 vs 12 Tier 1 matches all the time.
I don't think anyone would take any pot shots at all if you didn't arrogantly assume that you were without a doubt in Tier 1.

You could also be Tier 2 or Tier 3. The patch notes only specifies that T1 will never see T4 or T5.
So out of all the possible tiers, one of which (tier 3) would encompass the majority of players, and you automatically go, "I'm T1 guys! T1!!!"

No offence meant here my friend but you tend to rub some people the wrong way so yeah there are gonna be people who take their shots when they can.
I have nothing but the utmost respect for content creators like yourself, especially when you cover a game I enjoy so much. That being said, I don't religiously follow your videos because of your attitude sometimes.

Again because they averaged everyone since 01/2015.
So if I didnt play much I am likely to have a lower PSR, thus getting grouped with others.
It will take a few weeks for people to properly shift to the right spot.
