I fell in love with the CRB-27 Crab (medium, Inner Sphere) however that is not in the game, my choice is the Hunchback-4J. 1x LRM 10 (artemis) 2x ER Large lasers 2x Medium lasers supported with a variety of modules = a lot of fun in both long range and brawler matches.

Ed: It cannot equip ECM or jump jets, but I would rather have the armour more, anyway.

No recent pic with dynamic hardpoints? :D

Haven't got the chance, my GPU burn out and I have to run the game on low graphics setting.
Will be getting a replacement this weekend so I can play/take screenshot at highest setting again.

I've recently become quite fond of the Huggin Raven hero mech.

I spend the first portion of a match manuvering to the enemy flank or rear then the next part is the nailbitter.

I either sow confusion and suffering from supprise that a clever and quick acting PUG team can exploit but generaly fail to do so I explode spectacularly after a kill or two leaving a mech or two with stripped rear armor ready to be exploited by an aggressive PUG team (that never happens) ending a PUG match with damage equivilent to mechs of significantly higher tonnage.

Or when in the team play queue I am accompanied by a team mate (ECM a plus) and we pull an assassination of a couple of key mechs and run off giggling and planing our next sorte. or we explode spectacularly having done more than respectable damage for 5 seconds of engagment time :P

I guess I am liking the capacity to strike suddenly from a direction that was assumed safe and going nutso bananas in the enemy rear ranks.

They also play similarly: their mobility makes me able to flank the enemies and reach unexpected places where I can take potshots at the red doritos without them immediately knowing. I try to stay far from the enemies and only engage one when I have the advantage (not that hard to do being an Assault!). They gave me a lot of fun and the occasional multiple kills 1k+ damage matches!

So, what are yours? Please tell/show us! :)

Highlander mobile? i think you must been drinking a lot if you think a highlander is a mobile mech.

Even the executioner isn't mobile, it's masc lets it get to top speed fast but still doesn't mean it'sa mobile mech like a storm crow.

But in theme of the thread. I like my warhawks and summoner, now there what i call a mobile assault and heavy mech.

....

It's mainly because of the Jump Jets but 67.5 kph is a pretty decent speed for a 90 tonner (HGN-732 with a 325 rated engine). Now for the EXE, 71 kph is fast for a Mech this size! Then you add MASC and 4 JJs on top of that!

Vindicator 1AA and Urbanmech UM-63.

Not brutal killing machines (in my hands anyway), but they look cool, are fun to play, are always in my rotation :).

hey now, if all he has been driving are direwhales and stalkers with stock engines... EVERYTHING would seem mobile to him :P

Relatively speaking of course. I wouldn't call the stuck to the ground Adder mobile when there are jumping 150 kph Lights running around.

KFX-PRISCUS (1x cERPPC, 2x cSSRM4, ECM, 2x JJs)

Comprising nearly all of the Frozen City Garrison's light guard, a force also known by it's nickname, Silent Avalanche, this sniper mech blends in with with the snowy mist. She has enough speed to evade slower threats, and with a skilled pilot at her helm she has the firepower to decimate any Inner Sphere mech able to pursue her.

Its one of the more maneuverable Assaults due to the jets.

My Jenner's minus the damn Oxide. Just can't do it for some reason.

But I'm literally known as the Jenner guy in my Unit and there has been a few "oooooooh **** he's breaking out the Jenner's" comments on TS during group nights. Love them love them love them. Can't wait for the IIC's.

That being said, when it comes to straight up damage, I rarely do better with any mech than my Hunchies. Had a 700 damage game with my 4G last night, had a 800 damage with the LurmBack, Grid Iron is the first mech I played over and over again until it was mastered and then the 4P is still one of my favourites. If you can aim well, the 4P can melt pretty much anything in an alpha or two.

Locust 1E with 6 small pulse

Comstar Warhorn (small mech, big sound)
Baby on Board Sign (childishness abound in this mech)
Teddy Bear (if only I had a coconut monkey...)

It's a fast, frantic little bugger that spontaneously explodes. It preys upon big game and likes taking the scenic route to battle.
