I remember playing ZoE if only for its odd cockpit placement...

That Gundam game, haven't tried that one. I do have the Dynasty Warrior Gundam 2 and 3 though, and those were enjoyable- if you like Gundam. SOme of the older console Gundam titles were fun, but many lacked that sort of twitchy movement you would expect from Gundam, the DW games had it pretty decent. "Federation vs Zeon" was another fun one, played like an arcade port(it might have been) and had crap tons of voice overs etc- plays a little sluggish compared to the much newer DW games, but I still get it out once in a while.
Also, what? No MWO? lol. Maybe the guy that made the video kept getting lurm'd to death trying to finish his cadet bonus and buy his first mech.

Battlezone 1 and 2? (Epic game btw). I used to mod it, made the main battlezone 2 tanks into a 'Brittank'

Still looks good tbh, the 'floatyness' of the tanks is so memorable. Details of how to play it now are in the vid

On a more serious note, though, anyone noticed that most of these games are reeeeally old? I'd love to see a new mech game with a focus on PvE and/or a turn-based one.

Hairbrained Schemes are about to kickstart a new battletech turnbased game.
