A bit of a bummer that they won't follow camos, at all. I mean, when it comes to Atlas head being uncolored, silver/chrome, is kind of awesome and all, but for something like a Catapult's nose-cone being unpaintable, would be kind of awkward.

I think it really limits the options of what they can even sell us.
But it's still a good idea and i'd buy, probably anything they throw at us.

Hm, I didn't think about the Catapult noses. That's a good point. But I still want it, I want 5 different Catapult noses and I'll buy all of them and paint up my Catapult to match whatever colours their noses have. I want it. I need it.

Yeah, to be honest, I wouldn't be too thrilled to see a lot of horns, spikes and chains. Though I'm sure the hardcore Warhammer 40,000 fans would be thrilled, I feel like it's a bit inappropriate for Battletech in 3050. Maybe something to consider for the Dark Age.

Pardon my cynicism, but PGI knows that no one checks the suggestions forum. They'll use the low poll numbers to say there isn't enough interest, for their effort.

Dennis just asked that we make a poll, he didn't really specify which forum it should be in. He's not exactly a prolific poster, so there's a fair chance he doesn't know the ins and outs of the forum, where people can make polls, etc.

I can hardly criticize anyone for being a cynic at this point, but I figured it was worth a shot. If everything fails, I'll just become a fully devoted bittervet, and I suppose I'll spend a little less money on cosmetic upgrades for digital robots that I'm renting, for the sake of showing off to strangers on the interwebs.

I'm actually in favor of cosmetics being only MC purchasable. It would provide a revenue stream to PGI other than mech packs. I'm big into free to play games being free to play for all content except looking pretty. It works out pretty well that way. You end up having so much fun and liking the gameplay so much that smaller "pretty" type transactions don't seem like a big strain on your wallet and then all of a sudden you spent $80 bucks on one mech so you could look totally awesome. Once PGI has a larger assortment of goods to "sell" then maybe they would lower the MC price for mechs as i've always thought those were absurd.

Just imagine the $$$ they would make if they offered the old, larger PPCs on the K2.

Forget chrome, shoulders pads, spikes, etc. The money people would pay to select from a variety of gun barrels and laser emitters......
