Those legs are gonna be a problem, unless the make it at max, as tall as a cicada

Yeah, it`s funny because I see the sentinel as a short mech.

So what do you think? Would you rather have any other 40 tonner?

Id rather have the Assassin.

Assassin could be nice with lots of missile hardpoints and another variant with lots of energy ones. But for I missile boat I rather have the Whitworth. :P

Nothing much really. Especially since the Sentinel doesn't have jump jets and Cicada is a very versatile chassis.
The only thing it has that Cicada doesn't is having all 3 kinds of hardpoints. Missiles+Energy+Ballistics.
Which isn't a good thing, because such generalist mechs are pretty bad in MW:O.

Vulcan (and Assassin) on the other hand, provide a jump-capable 40 tonners (Vulcan is mostly Ballistics+Energy, when Assassin is Missiles+Energy).

But to be honest, i'd be happy if they added all 3 of them (maybe throw in a Clint too)

CDA-3F from 3052 has jumpjets (8 of them) and could be added yesterday. https://www.reddit.c..._we_ask_for_it/

Stock it has three energy (ERPPC, 2x ML). Hardpoint inflation historically on the CDA indicates that we'd probably see 5-6 energy on the MWO variant, all torso mounted. Probably three in each the left and right torso (the stock variant doesn't have CT energy)

Cicada is the ONLY 40 tonner in the game. Even the clans don't have a 40 ton mech.

because pgi refuses to release viper (dragonfly)... viper is one of the original clan omni mechs and doesn't have the speed issue of fire moth, another unreleased original clan omni; they already released later, non original, models like shadow cat, cheater and ebon jag, leaving viper behind without any reason or explanation -_-

For the clans I really like the Battle Cobra and the Corvis, but the Viper is the most popular, right?

Well, in my opinion, they should've released the Viper instead of the Ice Fridge.
I mean, even at 5 tons lighter weight, it'd be a better (and also less hideous) mech.

No offense to anyone, who actually likes the Ice Fridge, but it's really ugly.

define non original?

Ebon jaguar is one of the most unique clan mechs out there- it is not a IIC or isnpiration mech (ie mad dog = Archer, mist lynx = sling/ mercury, Locust IIC = Locust, Summoner = thunderbolt), and it isn't a direct upgrade of an earlier mech (Mist lynx evolved into arctic cheetah!), it is unique, has very low profile (which what, only 5 or 7 mechs have? including viper), and also had an odd build and hardpoints set.

Arctic cheetah? never saw the daylight in any video game and only was popular on TT.

Shadowcat? another iconic unique mech simular to the EBJ in celeb status and such.

Look at the viper- 75% of it is a nova- and that doesn't win any votes in a game where the nova losses to a hunchback in a medium laser fight....

Granted-I wouldn't mind the viper. However the point of originality doesn't really make sense here...

slim, sleak, and is very decent with a ER PPC, ER medium laser, and 3 weapon of your choice! (I alternate between SRM 4 and SSRM 2 + BAP, but you can try having double medium pulse or double medium laser with a heatsink or a TC 1?)
It's also pretty fast ^^

It's a bloody fridge on legs.
The Orion is sleeker than it.

But the Jeener IS a walking kitchen sink. All it's missing is the rotor at the bottom to shred what's left of the CT once it dies.

Why do I even bother being serious on these parts of the forums- no one ever takes the feature suggestions seriously [or anyone from PGI ever visits...]

Slim compared to the shadowcat, stormcrow, trebuchet, centurion, etc.
Sleak compared to the nova, stormcrow, trebuchet, cent- I just repeated hte above list...
Black jack, Jenner, and Firestarter?
[used mechs around about it's tonnage].
