I for one don't mind having a light mech that can pose almost as much of a threat as the average medium, heavy, or assault mech.

Like any small mech it is hard to hit an ACH in the arm /torso that you want.

Go for the legs.

Every time I drive this thing, my legs get torn up... and the dummies are still shooting for torso.

Atrocious Cheater:
Speed and manouverability like a good light, very good JJ.
Armour feels like a medium at least.
Armament like a light medium

Scamp Cow:
Speed like a fast medium.
Armour like an assault
Armament like an assault


Not to mention that both have much better survivability than IS mechs running XL.

Why are you shooting the CT on a light mech? You realize that the ACH CT is as big as the atlas head? Its not a jenner lol....its a bad idea to try to shoot it CT, you will be hitting both ST's, CT, Head and arms if they twist.

So why not shoot the legs? Its one or the other (2 hit boxes vs 6) and they get real slow after one is gone. IF you can hit em square in the back as they run away they die pretty fast too.

But again, its not the ACH, its your shooting.

Ironically that can't happen, even if you wanted it to.

Battletech has so many mechs with so many different shapes and sizes for mechs and pgi has a way of making the mechs they choose that you'll never in a long time see another mech like the arctic cheetah.

Maybe PGI could implement a system that points a large arrow at the legs of the AC with "shoot here" to help folks out.

Crow needs endo removed and it would take care of 99% of the issues. IT would still be hard to hit but wouldn't have the power of an assault mechs.
