What can we expect for CW Phase 3?
What are confirmed contents of the update? Will we actually be abled to use the bazilions of C-Bills in the unit coffers?

This is an ancient post, and we all know what PGI's position was at the time... but for what it's worth......

Don't expect anything more than that and it's possible you might get more than you expected.

increased number of beacons durring a ghost drop from 3 to 4, some players thought the mode was too easy.
dropship weapons upgraded to erppcs
turret weapons upgraded to gauss rifles
size of opening on generator cages reduced 5%
more planets!

You forgot double the amount of nodes to capture, but almost spot on.

I don't think anyone knows at this point.
Since we aren't actually flying around in a drop ship, and adding a "travel time" to the already excruciating wait times in CW then my guess is you click on planet, you pay a fee from your coffer to queue on the planet, or it gets extracted upon successfully finding a match.
No idea how that's going to work with wait times, party size, unit size, being in a unit vs not... I have a feeling PGI is having a real humdinger with that.

CW 3 is a waste of time (at the moment), and before you grab your pitch fork let me explain.
Until the game can focus on creating a place for new users to learn at thier leisure and take a break from pvp (single player/coop campaign) CW should be on the back burner.

you missed one!
For every new square taken on a planet all of the occupied squares must go through one complete counter attack cycle, where all squares are successfully defended, before a new, unoccupied square, becomes available for attack. Should one of the counterattacks be successful then all occupied territories must go through another full counter-attack cycle before an attackable square will open.

Neither will I. They would have to completely redo it from scratch preferably along the lines of the old LL conquest maps to even warrant my interest again, and since that's never going to happen...
