Was talking to the OP really, but when you lose you will rarely move up. Problems new players have can affect the outcome no matter what you do, but try to keep them formed up. If you're getting 5 kills you can carry a team if it is formed up. Otherwise you will lose and your PSR won't go up unless you have a phenomenal game.

As for 5 kills, consider when you got the kills. What were the odds when they died.

I have this same problem. Usually it works out to 4 losses to every 1 win. But 3 of those losses are lopsided losses to boot.
