Should PSR Tier be considered during the leaderboard competitions?

Don't forget:
PSR also is subject to spamming of some sort and it can not reflect that the tier 1 players are that awesome you think.
As long as there is no better code: no

Do they give out rewards for being the tallest munchkin in Oz?
I would say no to the idea, as Tier 1 pilots should also be going up against better competition during these events.

If you are a 'better' pilot, you should have no trouble qualifying for the leader boards regardless of your tier.
This of course assumes that the competition isn't something profoundly ridiculous like TRASHCANKICKING where only Urbies are counted...

Real competition (i.e. player run leagues etc.) does not care about PSR. PGI leaderboard "events" have nothing to do with competition and are simply stupid grind about who does more successful matches. Such events should be limited to 10 ranked matches for every player, with PSR turned off and preferrably in a separate solo queue.
