C-Bill increase for everybody, yay!
MC and other rewards for Blood Pact owners only. When was a grabbag for a special package only, since "it happens all the time for both sides"?

And even though I own neither resistance packs, I find it fair that you give extra incentives to those that supported this game in a monetary way by purchasing the packs.
My only complaint goes to the fact that CW fights are (once again) excluded from counting towards this events goals.

So, your suggestion would be treating the freebies like the whales (that are actually the ones keeping this game alive for everyone) to not piss of the freebies but instead piss off the whales? Sounds like a solid businessplan to me...
Really, we're talking about a free day of premium or two, same for Mechbays and perhaps a handful of MCs, otherwise it's singleheatsinks, mg-ammo, med lasers and that kind of stuff. It's some goodies for the guys that spent big money, but absolutely nothing essential for everyone...

I cant believe the amount of people calling this "P2W"... So the ones that purchased the packs gets a bonus event, hell, good for them! Its a reward for having bought the packages, so PGI is making them feel they are getting more for their money's worth, since the non-paying players will eventually have the ability to buy the mechs for in-game credits in a near future anyways. Whats so wrong about that? Everybody will still benefit from this event...

I wont be playing MWO anyway so don't care, but what people are actually saying is that they could have made it really fun for everyone, some grab bags for everyone (people who purchased packs but dont have both R are missing out despite some spending hundreds of $$) & then extra bags for R1 & R2 owners.

Does pgi WANT to drain the last drops of blood out of CW? Would it be so hard to just like include CW scores in the whole thing?
Just multiply the required score by whatever you feel is reasonable and add CW to the scoring.

The new reward system needs more statistics.
And that's the way PGI handles this.
Or would you go for pugging if PGI tells you to do so because they need some more numbers? ^^

We are talking about grab bags. With single heat sinks and other useful stuff in it. The 10 extra million CBills are for everyone. So, the game you are playing for fun (atleast you should do it for fun, because, you know, it's a game) is not fun anymore because you cannot click on a button for an additional medium laser, despite you get around twice the money for your next 40 (up to 80 if you bought just the smallest R-package) matches?
I was pissed myself when they gave away additional (L)-variants for buyers of the biggest packages of Wave III and/or Urbie, but only if you have purchased it in a certain time window. Which, unfortunatley, excluded first-day-buyers of Wave III. That was sth i totally understand when ppl are upset. But in this case? Come on...

Again, whatever other gripes you might have about this event aside, I don't see how it's got anything to do with "pay to win".
GXP, premium time and c-bills aren't pay-to-win. They might be "pay-to-cut-down-the-grind-a-bit", but that's one of standard tenets of F2P monetisation
Cockpit items are pure fluff -- another tenet of F2P monetisation (pay to customise/decorate)
MC is MC, and I guess it's possible that you might get enough to buy a MC-only mech, but I'm not sure any of them are currently considered best-in-class (although some are undeniably good); a quick look at the tier lists on metamechs shows the Misery in tier 3 and Grid Iron and Dragon Slayer. The last couple of grab-bag events didn't get me anywhere near enough MC to buy more than a few mechbays, but YMMV.
Consumables do confer an advantage, but each of the MC consumables has an Cbills-only direct equivalent.

On a different note, since I am just a casual player I often hop on any chance for bonus c-bills. What is the cheapest way for me to get an R variant to participate in the additional 10M c-bills? And I mean the Zeus, since the other mechs are really bad.
