Not happy about being excluded from grab bags completely because I don't own $160 worth of mech packs. Also, this:

All additional C-Bills won as part of this Event will be injected into accounts on September 1st 10:00 AM PDT (September 1st at 5:00 PM UTC).


Are you seriously telling me that I am going to spend all this time grinding extra CBills and not even see a penny of it until September 1st? Not cool.

Boo hoo. They aren't giving me enough free money in the free to play game. And I have to wait one whole week to get it.

Seriously? You know its August 25th right? And the last event had plenty of free cockpit **** and you are whining about an event that lets you get c-bills fast? As someone who hadn't gotten any other packs since paying to be a Legendary Founder until a month ago I would rather have c-bills than a chance at a cockpit item.

For all those people who have enough c-bills to own every Mech well chances are you probably have the packs anyways.

Doesn't matter. It's a week away. You'll survive.

You are still going to have access to your regular funds you grind. Having to wait a week for the free bonus money THEY DON'T HAVE TO GIVE YOU is such a shame.

Now if you want to ***** about how long it is for the deadline between pre-order bonuses and the actual release of mechs? That I can get on board with.

We've always had the opportunity to draw from the prize pools in previous events without dropping any money; why set us up with the "paywall" now?

Can you qualify for both the regular 250K C-bills AND the ® 250K C-bills during the same game, or do you have to play 80 games to maximize your take from the event?

Yes, the Summer Heat/Wave III event did it better - everybody could earn grab bags but Wave III pack owners merely got bonus ones.

Event is kick in teeth for people who spend hundreds of dollars on game (more than any normal game) but didnt get both resistance packs

Do something utterly meaningless but still kind've cool for people who own both packs and give them a window of opportunity to buy into it so that they won't come back later and say "I would have bought Wave II if I had known I'd get that sweet cockpit item"? The butthurt unfurls its fury.

Seriously, people. This isn't PGI being shady or tricksy. THIS IS A DIRECT RESPONSE TO PLAYER FEEDBACK. "Do something special for IS Pack owners, not just clans!" "Why do clans get incentives to own all the packs and not IS? Clan favoritism?"

Anyone, and I mean any and every single person that thinks this is somehow pay-to-participate, pay-to-play, and/or (omfg I can't believe I have to type this) pay-to-win is functionally impaired. People asked, right here, on this forum for exactly what is in this event. It's responding to player feedback and nothing more than that.

Take the blinders off and look with your special eyes if you have trouble seeing it.

Your reading comprehension, apparently, needs some work. You can earn 10 MILLION C-BILLS just by piloting any 'mech of your choosing and earning a match score of 150 or higher, which is the MWO equivalent of proving that you have a pulse and more than one synapse firing simultaneously.

Assuming that you've ever been employed outside of a restaurant, tattoo shop, valet service, or strip club, the concept of receiving payment for your efforts after you've completed them shouldn't be foreign to you.

I love this event. I also like how every package had a special even. Though I do not like the get top 10 positions to win a good prize evens every pack has had an event. This is a good way to reward your paying customers. Also leveling my left over resistance mechs and making 10 mil is great. Also I won 2 war horns. So that is a thing and I am 10 games in. A good thing.

Mech bays are my preference. only got 12 left to fill.

C bills at the end are probably so when the packs start being delivered there is more chance the owners will have silly cash. Thus the mechs will look really powerful and not stock when they hit the game.

Not at home to check, but any Resistance 1 R 'Mech owners able to confirm if the bonus C-Bills stack - ie I get a 150 match score and get the normal 250k + resistance owner 250k at the same time?
