Have you played recently? I haven't noticed LRMs being used much from the back of the battlefield, and when they are, they aren't successful at causing a lot of damage, and they aren't used for very long because a fast brawler or two goes and kills the LRMer.

No its 40 matches. With a Resistance mech you get a 500k bonus (250k + 250k).

As a non-Gold mech owner, yeah they should have an event where Gold mech owners get extra rewards. They put down a lot of money to support the game.

It's 40. It's not 40 Resistance and 40 non-Resistance (unless you go the non-Resistance route first, if only to extend for another 40 for the Resistance - because you need more grabbag tokens).

For the "straight money", 40 Resistance qualifying matches gets you to 20m immediately.

It's 40 matches of a Resistance variant to get the full bonus rewards.

When you get a qualifying match for a Resistance variant, you get a double bonus essentially (250k base, 250k Resistance bonus).

10 million / 250k = 40 matches.

10 million is the CAP for each TYPE. 10m for any mech, 10m additional for Resistance variant.

10m + 10m = 20m (the cap isn't exactly 20m at face value - you must run 40 matches anyways in a Resistance mech to get its particular bonus... doing it all at once with a Resistance variant gets you the base bonus to go with it in one sweep)

So it means you need 40 matches in a Resistance mech to get the total bonus.

I swear... I'd have to write a FAQ on how the damned thing is structured.

Is there somewhere that you can view the number of each you have achieved, or do you have to count them yourself every time on the redeem page?

Nah, I see where he is coming from. The prizes aren't that big a deal, but seeing them and being unable to participate does make me a bit blue. Its a fun experience drawing randomly from a hat and getting stuff, even if its just fluff.

I will be grinding the 10 mil without complaints though, need more engines. But being shut out of the "fun" part of the contest is a downer.

Well, if you feel left out, do what the guys that get the "fun" part and invest $160 in the game that you apparently enjoy at least to some extent.
If you are unwilling to support the game with your money, don't complain about the few little rewards that those that do, and sometimes heavily do, get now and then.

The cbill prizes are awarded at the end of the event. Should be injected into your acct then. Its in the text just above "scores" - All additional C-Bills won as part of this Event will be injected into accounts on September 1st 10:00 AM PDT (September 1st at 5:00 PM UTC).

Assume much? I've spent approx $800 on this game since I joined Jan 2015...

Unfortunately, you will have to count.

40 qualifying matches is the max you can get.

I'm tired of all that whining stuff. I'm not in MWO for always getting every reward. It's not about supporting the game with my money. I'm a founder and by now I've bought a couple of bundles and a la carte the Mauler for example. I spend nearly every Month 50 Euros for MC and nearly all my owned Mechs are bought with that. So, I think I'm supporting this game more than enough. But I'm a IS-Player by belief and I do not like most of the resinstancemechs. Thats not the fault of PGI.
It's a kind of greadyness when everybody wants every possible reward. Sometime you have to qualify. Sometimes you do and sometimes you do not. It's good as it is. So stop complaining.

My guess is that it'll record up to 100 qualifying matches because of the grab bag component, but that cash rewards will still be capped at 10m/20m depending on the mechs you use.
