I have taken the plunge into Windows 10, and I'm finding now that my headset microphone doesn't work with MWO. It works on Mumble and TeamSpeak, but does not work in-game.
Has anyone else come across this error? Does anyone know a workaround for this?
And FYI, I'm using the Razer Maelstrom USB headset.

Windows not detecting it is one thing. I've replugged it and had windows recognize it, and it works in TS and Mumble, but it DOESN'T WORK in MWO

UPDATE:
It used to not work at all in-game, but now it works about 50% of the time. Sometimes if I lean on my push-to-talk key for the first minute or so of the game it works normally. Still not ideal, but getting better.

Mine works fine on WIN10 and MWO but one thing I did notice is that I need to always plug it into the same USB socket otherwise I have to reconfigure everything up.

I encounter this when my Turtlebeach PX21 USB headset didn't output any sound
you just need to replug the device in Windows
run the troubleshooter for audio
test your headset sound and mic with the Windows sound
then you are good to go for MWO
