Which Upcoming Mechs And Packs Did You Pre-Order?

I don't like the idea of pre-ordering and it'll be a difficult thing to convince me to pre-order anything that isn't the 55ton Quad Scorpion.

I personally bought the Black Knight. I have all variants of 3 light mechs, 3 medium mechs, 3 assault mechs and only 2 heavy mechs, so I needed a third and only the Black Knight suited my needs. It may be the last mech I pre-order, at least for a year or two.

Looking at the Instagram preview, it looks like they've already made a variant with ballistics in the right arm. I guess this is for a Black Knight hero mech to be released at some point, like the IV Four ballistic hero variant of the Quickdraw?
That has to be a PGI made up variant. All the versions of the BK I know of are pure energy. You could be right, maybe a hero, or maybe it's one of those reinforcements they like to put in the gift store.
Unfortunately it's not a gun arm, which means it's going to have all the actuators so you're not going to be able to pack anything bigger than gauss. Since all it has are brawler hard points, that's kind of a shame because what you really want in there is an AC/20.

I dont think its even that, it seems more like modelers going crazy modeling every weapon on every body section regardless of actual hardpoints. Look at the instragram preview of the Crab, its got a PPC mounted in each ST by the looks of it, despite no variants having any hardpoints in the ST.

The thought of a Black Knight with an arm-mounted AC20 just made me cackle.
They can always just remove the lower arm actuator like they did with some of the Centurions and Highlanders. Why not?

I dont like the idea of pre ordering games - its reinforcing the negative behavior of launching half baked **** because ppl will pay for it before they even get to play it
Is there anywhere on your account page where you can see all your purchases not just MC ones?

The difference is Centurions and Highlanders have gun arms, which means no hands, and therefor no hand actuators. I suppose they could remove the hand model from that BK variant as well. But that's not what we're seeing in that preview.

It's possible. Or it's possible a double ST PPC Crab is also getting released as a hero or reinforcement. You never know....

I haven't bought anything from PGI since Clan Wave Pack 2.
It's the most I've ever invested in anything game-wise, and while it fills the need for big stompy robots, I haven't seen the return.
Mainly because of what I feel are issues revolving around Stagnant gameplay, "blindfold dartboard" balancing attempts, major issues with core game structures (can't figure out how to fix HSR or implement basic weapon or system functions and mechanics), major lapse in reasonable timetable for addressing or adding features, lack of confidence in professionalism and decision making from staff (ref V-Log 14 as a most recent example)... and that's just stuff of the top of my head.
About a year since the Clan mechs dropped... CW is a long stick of fecal matter waiting to be polished, and if what they *Realistically* have planned for the long awaited CW is anything like they've done with TDM... then yeah I'm done buying stuff. I might play the game once in a while, but I won't further fund hundreds of dollars more for a game that still has no depth and can't leave a beta state while taking its good ol' time in doing so.

As for the Origins pack, I got to the HBK IIC pack, so I also get the Jenner IIC.
In the past I got the HBK Founds, Urbi, and Clan Wave 3 Eben Jaguar Pack.

Phoenix Overlord
Clan Invasions 1, 2, 3
Origins complete pack
I also enjoy the game and support it so that it can stay viable for a long time, hopefully long enough to reach its full potential.
Being largely a clan pilot, I have not purchased the Resistance packs, but the R2 pack really looks interesting! Love the mauler, black knight and crab!

Was considering the Origins just for the Hunchbacks and Jenners, but I find that I don't really care for the Clan mechs in packs I purchased at all so for me it's something that could wait until C-bills because there wasn't really anything special about the pack itself.

How so? Not sure you know what ironic means.
The one constantly getting on me for buying stuff because I dont like what PGI is doing to the game but you, the constant defender are not buying them?
k, whats that then?

I brought the Crab pack.
Not a big fan of piloting Assault and Heavy mechs (except my Mad Dog, Grasshopper, Zeus and Awesome)
As much as I love Hunchback and boombox, I don't want to be stuck with a Jenner, one of my cursed chassis.
so no Origin pack, will wait for Cbill release.
