skipped the resistance 2 pack but i regret that... i'd really like to have the black knight and the mauler (4AC10 troll build) i'm just really disappointed with the resistance1. besides panthers and enforcers i don't like, i somehow like the hoppers and really like the zeus.

also, took jenner and hunchie IIC. i regret i did skipped orion and highlander IIC tho.

I am not enticed by either the Original's pack or the Resistance 2 pack. I did purchase the Ebon Jaguar level of Clan Wave 3, and that will likely be the last mech-pack purchase for some time, this side of a miraculous release of Unseen mechs such as the Warhammer, Crusader, Marauder, etc.

None. There are only 2 mechs they could release that I would spend real money on. I already spent a few hundred bucks on this game which is much more than this game is worth.

I did buy the Crab Pack. Mainly for the Crab; I love the artwork, and the mech looks like it'll complement nicely my stable of IS mediums.

Almost as an afterthought I realised I now also own the Wolfhounds ... I'm not sure what to make of those yet. I see none have JJ's, so I don't think they'll replace my Panthers as the 35-tonner of choice, but I shall see.

I might've waited until c-bill release, but I like to support the game a bit, for all the good fun I've had (only started playing in February).

I haven't really got into clan mechs, so I didn't seriously look into the other pack.

I have full Pheonix and RI, but only Wolfhound pack for RII. Was very interested in the 'mechs in the pack, but didn't spend on them, because the progress on the title as a whole has been very slow and CW is effectively dead. 20$ I can risk on a game I still play once in a while. Not 80$.

I do wish they'd give me more reasons to spend money.

I purchased the Legendary Founders and Phoenix Overlord with intention of purchasing all future packages. While I was absolutely satisfied with my founders package the phoenix left a bad taste in my mouth.

First, the phoenix 'unique geometry' sucks. The locust gets tubes all around the cockpit making it far harder to see out of its already small cockpit and the other 3 are easier to hit thanks to their unique and imo ugly shoulder pads.

Second. The phoenix variants are not as good aside from the battle-master. I would much pref to have extra C-bills on the laser locust, 5m shadowhawk and laser heavy thunderbolt. Now while I don't mind the the phoenix locust/hawk I hate the bolt... and bolts are some of my fav mechs.

Third, paying cash money for mechs that don't earn extra c-bills. The founder package was great! Mechs, MC and premium time. Great value. Fast forward to my phoenix purchase... It felt like a chore leveling all of those extra mechs. And then, to top if off they reinforced those packages with mechs I would rather have yet will never get because I already spent so much time and C-bills leveling and building the ones I have.

Forth, Loyalty points that for the longest time did not do anything and as best as I can tell still do nothing.

The clan stuff is expensive and resistance 2 is a bunch of laser vomit. Why they decided on 4 variants of each mech when they are all very similar laser vomit variants I will never understand.

Resistance one is somewhat appealing but again I pref other variants and would probably not make use of the extra c billl versions.

Also

I don't buy premium time because I can't start and stop it
I don't buy patters because I can't put them on my favorite mechs (ignoring the stupidity of my mech techs not being able to re use their stencils on other mechs once purchased)
I don't but MC because I still have MC left over from founders which I am frugal with because everything in this game (packages aside) feels overpriced to me.

I love this game and I would like to support it... But I think the $200 I've dumped might be the last they see of my pockets.

135 mechs, 142 mechbays, Full 2c comin. I will buy the wolfhounds for Nostalgia reasons. Plus you can stick x-pulse lasers on them someday.

I bought the IIC pack up to the Orion (Orion, Hunchback, Jenner).

It should round out my choice of clan mechs (I have clan wave 1 up to the Dire Wolf) while offering a bit of different game play for clans and the fastest Jenner in the game

I almost never play assaults and my cutoff for spending was about CA$80. I didn't buy any of the Resistance or the other clan packs.

Actually, special geometry does not affect hitboxes.

I also have never noticed them being harder to see out of, and uglier is subjective. Just FYI.

Have shown MWO a fair bit of financial support, still think it is a good game. However, the whole 'produce endless mech packs while we put every other phase of game development/fixing on the back burner' approach doesn't work for me.

Will send more money when they send more game.

I've not preordered a mech pack since Clan wave one, but... the Mauler is eversosexy in a classic Warhammer-ish way. Pretty sure I'm going to place an a-la-carte order for this one.

I bought some of the last few clan packs so I don't need the IIC jenner as I have an ACH.

The shadowcat and iceferret don't compare to a HBK IIC though >_<
