Cuz the dev's should post one of these up for player questions/concerns and thoughts on the road ahead!

Firstly I am aptly impressed we are finally going to get a proper training mode - which also hints at a PvE element. This will be a big bonus for newer/new players + the PvE element would be a good addition to the game

As Paul mentioned we have MASC, so I have a question for Paul.. ..does this mean we FINALLY will get the Flea? :P

PSR being removed from CW is great

Mech rebalance - Likely to get the most interest from player and cause the most controversy. I feel that players that have pimped out mechs with modules might have a say here.. ..but of course we can assume this includes the feedback from the mech rescale poll which will be welcome for many of the mechs.

The new home screen is a pleasant surprise and look forward to seeing how this turns out, right now the home screen is pretty useless from a UI perspective.. ..all that space and potential!! I hope the devs bring back a favorites selection like we used to have.

On a side note....

....no mention of CW! :(

PGI mentioned PVE missions in the future in that thread so if they can pull it off, I might see this game in a new light. :)

A lot of us have long been expecting 40%-50% quirk mechs to be nerfed sooner or later but I'm sure a lot of people who purchased the Grid Iron will be up in arms about it if they don't balance it out well.

It could be 2016 in PGI Time™, but last stated was 2015.

However, I suspect a Town Hall will reassure us with another mech pack!

Am I the only one hoping they nerf the damage output we're currently at? It just feels like if you're not in a heavy or higher, you better be moving your ass out of the line fire 24/7, the second you pause there goes a shoulder or an arm or the whole damn mech. : /

I hope they establish a new, lower, base line for firepower they want in the game. And work more through armor and mobility values.

I just wish they'd release their tools. If we had a framework or SDK, I'd be elbows-deep in it, making a singleplayer campaign.

That is, of course, assuming the AI is any good. Time to wait and see. The promise is exciting, it will depend on the execution.

Russ makes the Roadmaps and has already said the Flea is dead to him.
MASC is only so-so on the Shadow Cat though nice on the Executioner. Should be more interesting when IS BattleMechs get a crack at it as they are the ones who can change their engine size and show how weak or robust PGI's equations are.

Here is to hoping for a good tutorial and future PVE.

I think that is coming with the balance updates. The crazy damage quirks are going to be removed per the rumors of Marik TS. Other quirks are going to stay...

I approve of this roadmap. The Battlevalue thing could be a complete gamechanger

CW? as far as Paul and Russ are concerned is operating as intended and it's achieved it's pillar of the game already.

This is the main reason i play very little now and when i do it's not CW.

CW should be the jewel of the crown in a multi faceted game, instead it's a piss poor take on what was got 95% of founders into the game as closed beta stage in the 1st place and now it's a f@cken piss poor joke at best.

I wonder how much rage will fill the forums over them nerfing everything. Because if we're going to remove quirks to more reasonable levels. Then that means the best Clan mechs are getting more nerfs. So we'll have rage from all sides. But hopefully it's like pulling a band-aid and everyone realizes it might be for the best.

And I will be there, laughing at them. Buying mechs solely due to quirks, lol.

You described the only thing that keeps IS lances in CW, buying 3 Thunderbolt 5SS.
