[Afuldan McKronik]

Flanking as a dwf. Three rear torso kills on heavies and an assault. Last assault turned his boarshead to face me... I was scared for my tier when i seen 6spl, lrm20, lbx10. Then laughed as he facetanked my 76 point alpha ... Three times.

Felt bad leaving him as a stick with cherry ct armor... But thought a lesson was in order.

and it took three alphas?
wow... I killed a TBR last night with one alpha to the face with my EBJ and its 6 MPLs ...Oh I did enjoy that so.

What he said is the Atlas (Boar's Head) Took 3 76 point alphas which I believe were aimed at his side torsos, effectively making him stripped, also known as a "stick"

Can we trade tiers? My KDR is going to become a flat 1.0 if I stick in this tier for a few months... hard mode engaged

Mine has been around 1 for years. You'll get used to it.

Im still seeing the same 'pros' I did before. I see EMP\228\SJx\TOOL\420 etc. The difference is instead of seeing 2-4 solid players per team and a bunch of filler, its just 12v12 tryhard all the time. I'm not complaining. PGI did a good job. But I do miss putting up 6 kills 1100 damage in my EXE-Prime. It just isn't going to happen anymore. Sidenote: Ive been here since day 1, and my KDR was 2.6 archived over 5k matches... now its slightly under 1.5... The constant theme is that the longer the game is out, my KDR and w\l are getting closer and closer to 1.

As long as my W/L stays above 1 I'm happy. My style of play doesn't lend itself to high KDR anyway.

Im not concerned with KDR, but I am a little concerned about individual contribution. That's not a PSR issue, that's a 12v12 issue. I greatly preferred 8v8.... cant wait for that 4v4 mode!!!! My KDR tanked after 12v12... I remember being upset because It went from 4 to 2.6 over the first year of 12v12, then I took a year off during the poptart-limbo phase. Im happy that PGI has made these changes, because my new challenging existence means that the veteran pilots are clearly too busy tearing each other apart to farm the nubs like we used to.

Mine already has. Not sure what tier I'm in, but my KDR has taken a bit of a plunge since PSR kicked in. I can't imagine I'm any higher than tier 3 though. Just when I was starting to feel good about myself too.

This is where taking a vacation the first eight months of this year would have paid off. Then you could take crap chassis all day long and profit from the fun.

Heh, my KDR has steadily been climbing, from 1.38 to 1.43, but that's with 5000+ kills, so it's slow going. It's weird because my games have had better opponents since PSR, but I've had better teammates too. Apparently I'm a much better player when surrounded by better players.

Would you be surprised if i say i am in my 'Atlai only' have a KDR of above 1.60? And that each variant have a positive ratio?

It's hardmode to keep it actually steady. But i am not that much of a KDR hunter. Don't care either.

Considering you've had that atlas banner for years now, I wouldn't have any issue believing it! Hope to see you ripping faces up on the battlefield. Im pretty sure I have actually, its just been a while.

My peformance is going up and down. Like yours! Matches where i absolutely wreck faces, good teammates and proper support. All what the Atlas needs. And then you have matches were everyone falls down around you, you dish very low if any 'good' damage and have no chance to peform to your liking and end up barely scratching their paints.

I am sure i am not the only one.

Happens me enough times aswell. Or when you see a familar Forumwarrior name and you end up 200 damage. Ouch!

But main thing what pissed me off is the mentality of 'experienced=matched' puggers who go on their own. Hope it will dissappear soon enough.

Currently on a break though. Only going out for testing purposes. Waiting the rebalance out.

I wish they never showed KDR. All i ask is more mentality for the team. Al the tools are there to make a team work. And a good system where you can reward pilot for their peformances based on something different then just plain kills. Whether it's a vet or a new player.

This makes the game more fun for everyone, and makes it feel like a mechwarrior game.........

I don't know my K/D ratio or any other stupid and meaningless video game stat. I just wreck face, sometimes my own in the name of fun.

You would be suprised by the amount of KDR hunters in this game. Some are really obsessed with their KDR stats.

If you think about it; in my opinion it's pretty messed up. But that's just me being honest how i think about those folks.
