Looking good. I hope to be able to download the PTR at some point and try it out. I also hope it will convince some of my friends to give MWO a real try now that there is a training tutorial.

If only we can use those colored smoke signals in actual gameplay.

Gotta say that looks pretty impressive.

Giving cbills for completing it a great idea too.

I guess you haven't been properly introduced: That's Captain Adams. He's in charge of that Training Academy.

;)

I'm pretty hype for this. On paper it just seemed great, and now having seen the screenshots it looks great too. PGI actually used good camera angles! And the circle of shut down mechs looks super cool!

I hope we can get something like leaderboards for speed runs through the different training sections.

Well I went through each training "program" and got screenshots of all. Most are self explanatory.
If I missed something or something wrong, let me know.

Overall this seems like a very solid tutorial compared to what we had before which was pretty much nothing. Very very good stuff.

What none of those screens shows is an npc standing on the ground beside at least one of the mechs.(actually one of the npcs on the ground is barely visible in one of the screens) Also during the gauntlet I think it was, one of the dummy mechs moved(forward movement) then stopped when it seen my mech. A bug or unfinished part?

It feels very basic but the mechs will turn to get an angle on you then shoot. They're pretty much lining up their shots.

When you switch 'mechs you actually get a ground-eye view of the 'mechs AND a technician that stands between the legs of the 'mech you're switching into.

Edit: Yep, Kira had a screenie of that tech in the OP (there's actually one behind both 'mechs):

It was actually moving forward. Making that clear up above. LOL I am pretty sure, maybe because I was looking around so much I got it wrong.
