The building he is instructing from is basically a podium for instructing his cadets. I am sure there is a central lift elevator so he can be seen and observe the Cadet Cadre. Like an aircraft carrier elevator.

It is very simple how he got on top of the building.

They now have a use for arm actuators and they allow you to climb buildings like king kong.

Climbing confirmed as a feature!

They stated on the page talking about this that there would be bugs....so im pretty sure you can figure it out.

I had the chance to test this out and I only encounter one bug, and thats the survival test. After a certain time all the mechs stop shooting you

It's cool that you are able to move around on foot. Really gives you a better sense of scale. But I imagine that I can't just run off and explore River City on foot..........

I have to admit that I'm far more impressed than I thought I would be by this. Didn't think PGI would be able to create a tutorial of this quality. I'll say that if this is a sign of things to come... Good job!

Its true I did 65 check points and the other mechs didnt fight back or anything after the first round. I eventually just quit.

Cool, at this pace they might have a decent game with meaningful reasons to play it before they lose the licence.
