The object is unrelatable to anything in real life. No windows, no doors, no indication of what it actually does. Just headlights and a wheel that do not steer except straight

Its function is ambiguous, Its scale is ambiguous and it just looks straight up terrible. The fidelity is bad. They put it everywhere in the tutorial and it just muddies up an otherwise quality product

You really had to look hard for something to complain about! ;)

You are hurting the feelings of the developer who most likely made the entire vehicle by himself.

With no help from the concept artist, i guess so. Looks like an attach rectangle here, attach cube here, attach wheels here here and here sort of deal

IDK about 3D modelers but i know concept artists learn that they need to use relatable visual queues and scale references

Forklift would have been a great prop in this game

If people have to make so many guesses they're not doing it right

It just blows my mind, the thing doesnt look like it can do anything besides drive in a straight line, theres no way the front wheels can steer the vehicle

It's skid steer, you drive the inside wheels slower and the outside wheels faster and it turns, just like a tracked vehicle. There are plenty of real world things that do this already.

if you move 1 wheel faster than the others, the vehicle will turn in that direction. That's exactly how tanks work.

I love that this minuscule yellow, whatsit-gizmo is enough to goad you into starting a post about it.

Please PGI, make the tutorial end by fighting a giant one of these yellow-mystery-eye-sores.

I'm thinking, 100 times the size of a Direwolf, and you'll have to team up to take it down raid style. You know, for the lols.

edited for spelling :s

The way Tennex is going on about this tiny little thing, you'd think one mauled him when he was a child.

Hmm... I like the special use for it being a mech hauler in a pinch.

Tanks can reverse one side of the treads to turn. But I think the spaces between the wheels have to be closer to a square shape

Clearly it is technology so advanced, we can't figure it out.

It's as if we presented an F-22 to the Wright brothers.
