If you got one 4 inch row of wheels. next to another 4 inch strip of wheels. These 2 strips are placed only 2 inches appart (or 0 inches as an extreme example). The object will not be able to turn when you go forward on one strip and backwards on the other.

On the other hand, if u got 4 inch row of wheels, and another 4inch row of wheels with 4 inches spaced between them it will turn very well

I think the yellow object they made has the wheels too close together or the wheels are too wide for that to work

It could be a Unmanned Ground Vehicle, a "Mule," transport platform or armory in use by ground troops.

Newer Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter games had it; it WAS a concept weapon pioneered by the U.S. Army at a time as part of Future Combat Systems.
