An Apology In Advance...

most of the time i disconnect due to:
game freezes for several seconds,
game + sound freezes
system freezes,
fps drops down to 5-10, in the next moment 40 again
crazy shaking reticule
mwo not reacting anymore
why are those problems only related to the new maps? i mean, it is not like we have a graphic revelation here. to me it just seems to be pretty bad optimized.
i have run the repair tool twice in one month, not sure what else i can do. for the guys claiming to buy a better rig: nope, everything else runs fine.
so as long as i have those probs on these maps I will have to forfeit the matches.
anyone else with those problems?

Not on the new maps no. Some of the Galaxy maps have a memory leak or two for sure somehow. Im not sure the details. But the new maps run great.
Can this game be optimized more? Likely. But the problem is likely on your end though. The new maps combined with detailed mechs and gameplay make for a demanding game for hardware.

Not at all - smooth as butter for me.
What DX version are you running? I've heard reports of less crashes if you run under DX11.
Also, deleting your shader cache strangely helps with all sorts of weirdness.

DX11. I will try your shader advice.

The new ones are big, really big and have quite a handful of new grahic goodies.
So maybe you have a memory shortage problem.
How much graphic memory does your grahic card have ?
How much system memory you got ?
Are you running other software besides MWO that uses some or much of your system memory ?

Need system specs from you to help.

Somewhere there is a thread or webpage about how to best optimize your MW:O graphical settings and what they do... can't seem to find it atm.
But yeah when in doubt of the issue, try everything. Turn everything down and off and bump up the settings from there. Hell it might even be something to do with sound or music. Don't know if you have dedicated Graphics card or Sound card but if not maybe the issue could be with that. The game is very CPU demanding. You never know.

I'm assuming your videocard drivers are up to date. I'd try going into the repair utility and clearing out your shader cache. Drop everything shadow-related in your settings to a minimum. In fact, might be worth it to set everything to a minimum just to rule out the possibility that a graphical setting isn't mucking with your performance.
After that, run the game and leave task manager up. See if you get any process spikes.

Thats really odd, should be running fine. What resolution to you play on. With Full-Hd (1920 x 1080) it should perform well enough, with any higher resolution ???

I've noticed this exact same issue.
