I have no idea. He's just some random dood I chose off the internet when I made that picture a couple of years ago. :)

If you really think about it.. does he know that he is a popular meme in the world of serious internet robbits?

Is he still driving his crowded rickety bus?

Easiest way to get a 150 match score is to get 300 damage. Simply put, non damage rewards now seem to reward less, so you need more damage to make the grade. Just take your best damage dealers until the event is over.

I did this event while grinding Mist Lynxes from 0/0 basics...and I only failed to get 150 score on two occasions.

I just did what I normally did, which involved shooting robbits and trying to kill robbits, while trying to prevent the red robbits from killing my own robbit.

**WHY** would you ever grind mist lynxes? #worstmechEVA

Anyways...I think its harder for lights and assaults to get to 150. They seem to take a greater degree of skill than the mediums and heavies. In a Timberwolf almost anyone could get to 150. Lights die a lot easier if not piloted well, and assaults use long range to make up for their slow mobility...they require a smart pilot to keep them in the right positions. So if you want your 150 more often than not I'd stay in the medium to heavy range.

I said more than once that 150 match score was a given for almost every match but out of 15 match in my Ember with 4 flamer and 4 mg's i was able to make 150+ only 3 times, no 150 isnt always easy. Comparatively out of 9 match in my Pirates Bane only 2 match didnt qualify so ill stick with the PB i guess.

Also when does it stop counting the match that qualify? im not supposed to go over 10mil.

You made him an icon, a hero for many of us, we should retrace him and interview him.

dunno what to watch there, an ordinary stomp where you didn't pay the main role and where everybody could easily get 150 when their team was stomping

If you bothered to read the full post, then you would not be confused. I'll draw you a picture with crayons though, just 'cause I'm generous that way:

1) People complained that a match score of 150 was too hard on average and poor matches.
2) I uploaded what I consider to be a "bad" match for me, personally speaking, to illustrate how easy it is to get a match score of 150.
3) I highlight how to get said match score.
4) Hopefully said complainers will be able to profit by my example and start getting better match scores.

It's just that simple. It doesn't matter if your team is stomping or not. If we had lost that match, I still would have gotten a score of 150 or better.

also a weird build, 90.9 km/h? (it's the speed of an elited enforcer with 255 engine) you could have 106.9 kmh or even more with that build easy with some jj and heatsinks... if you used std, enforcer is asymmetrical and has no reason to live if it loses that left torso anyway, enforcer is also xl friendly

It is an Excel 255. I don't have the C-bills for a bigger engine and prefer the extra firepower anyways. I already have a different Enforcer that moves faster, so I don't really need/want a fast one for this variant. It's my mid-range skirmisher.

Personally speaking, I don't get hung up on whatever some self-appointed MWO expert or website (like Meta Mechs) says is the "best" build for a specific Mech. I build what I want to play and have fun with and run that. If you ever watch my YouTube vids, you'll see a lot of builds that probably seem strange to you.

All I can say, is that this one works quite well. I've already had several 800+ damage matches with it, a 900+ damage match, and a match with 1,111 damage. You may think it strange, but I find it fun.

i dunno what you tried to achieve, but, if you put it that way, you basically said something like the following - this utter stomp of the enemy team is a bad match for me, but i can easily get 150+ score points when my team utterly stomps theirs

imo it's just silly to run a medium mech so slow when you can run it faster

Don't be the first to die within 2 minutes and land hits on enemies. I think that's all there is to it.

You piqued my interest, so I uploaded the original proof (before I shopped it) to a website called tineye and spun the roulette wheel. He's bound to be out there, somewhere, right?

Two possibilities:

http://www.dailysqui...ound-delhi.html

According to this he drives people randomly around town. What goes on in the back of the bus... who knows? But alas, I think that is a dead end... so I searched further...

And then I found this...

https://translate.go...html&edit-text=

The original page is in Russian, but apparently... or is it coincidence? Apparently... the man's name is Raju Sharma and he massacred about two dozen people by his bad driving. Or did he try and blackmail them? Hell, I don't know. But people are dead by his wheel!

I can't make this ish up! Read the article!

Easy to get 150. 0 Kills, 0 Assists = 200 points.

well, it seems both articles just used some random indian bus driver photo, the second article about that criminal driver is the earlier one, from 2011

that article links to newsru.ua as its source, here is the article on newsru.ua (in russian)
http://rus.newsru.ua...11/avto_20.html
http://www.newsru.co...rm7tourind.html (the same on their other domen, in russian too)
it uses the same pic and gives the news' source, it's an indian newspaper hindustantimes.com (in english)
http://www.hindustan...le1-753863.aspx
now, that indian newspaper has no pics! so the pic appeared here, on the russian news site

as i have said it's just a some random indian bus driver

Also... avoid team damage, as this will ruin your match score. <_<

300 damage is the safest way, no matter if you get stomped or not. But I have to say, some matches just won't get you there. I have a handful of matches in my list where I haven't even broke 100 matchscore.

Usually bad positioning or tried to get that on little sucker and oops his buddy is around the corner. Oh no, his buddies! Hey another red one, where did he come from? Oh, fancy spectator mode, gg...

Since I own 100 BattleMechs, I don't feel the need to optimize every single one of them. The 4R is my competitive Enforcer. The 5D is for laughs. If you don't like it, don't run it, but don't presume to judge it until you've tried it.

It's actually faster than my HBK-4G, 4H, and GI; all of which are successful Mechs of mine. Chew on that.

Don't run away from your assaults. Rest will work itself out. If you are in an assault and can't get to 150 try another mech.

A crucial factor to getting 150+ score is being alive long enough to do so. Seems obvious, but a lot of people seem to forget. Some tips:

1. Stay near an assault/big heavy and help it out. Assaults get focused on first because they're big, slow and pack tons of firepower. KEEP THEM ALIVE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. This means helping it take out its targets as quickly as possible, and driving lights away. The longer the assault stays alive, the longer you won't be shot at. Your DPS goes through the roof when you don't have to worry about taking cover or twisting to spread damage. This is how laserboating mediums get top damage in game after game.

2. If you're an assault or big heavy, STAY ON THE FRONT LINE AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.. You have the armor to take hits for a while, and you should do so. At the start of the match armor lasts longer because both teams are still even and are relatively cautious. When you're already outnumbered 2 to 1, even the Dire Wolf only lasts a few seconds under focused fire. Most of the time, it's not worth saving your armor for the late game.

3. Once you're heavily damaged (no CT/ST front armor), GO BEHIND THE FRONT LINE. Your goal at this point is to keep contributing firepower AS LONG AS POSSIBLE. Take cover, dodge, use healthier teammates as meatshields all while firing as often as possible. This applies to all mechs, even heavies and assaults. There's no point in going out to a suicide charge when you still have a majority of your weapons.

For those cramming those last couple of matches and still confuzzled about how to get a 150 match score, I bump this back to the top for you.
