i think im gonna take a break for half a year cut it really pisses me off when i do 800-900 dmg and then i see my team that doesnt even break the 100pt of dmg in a dire/timber.. and i see a lot of wtf builds

and the teams are usually 1 sided


one of the worst updates for sure

If that's what usually happens you will rank up and get to a higher tier soon, then you will have better teammates. Stick with it dude!

Also, when you wait for a match do you wait long? As I've understood there is a timeout after which you can get grouped with lower/higher tier teammates, that might be what's going on.

It will take some time and it will suck. However, the new MM will get you where you belong. Best to just forget about the new tier system for now. It has some bugs and there are some fixes planned for the next patch or two.

How do you expect your rating to change by boycotting the game?

Obviously the sorting is much faster if both you and your opponents continuously adjust at the same time.

How am I wrong?

I AFK'd half the game and came back 6-9. By the time I got to the fight it was 6-11.

• Used R to target mechs to see their status while approaching the fight.
  
• Killed Scrow who was CT crit.
  
• Killed some random light mech with a smoking right shoulder.
  
• Fought a fresh Catapult, Timberwolf and trial Raven out in the open water.
  
• Kill Catapult and Timberwolf.
  
• Chase down Raven.
  
• Kill AFK Adder.
  
• Lose last weapons to raven.
  
• Run around buildings while twisting to get a draw.

So in a 1v5(+1DC) situation I ended up with 5 kills and got a 6-11 game to an 11-11 draw. I'm not a good pilot. To be honest, the people I fought had pretty bad aim. I was barely taking any damage in the prolonged fight with them and I had 4 mechs shooting at me without me having any cover (we fought in the water in Crimson) so I guess the range of players I get is still pretty broad.


Made me feel like a freaking God of Death though striding out there alone and taking out 5 out of 6 mechs (even if 1 was afk) and surviving until time out.

But to be real here, I was just clubbing baby seals.

Stopped caring at "AFK'd half the game". It would appear you're one of those.

I'm there sometimes. It's pretty fun. You literally take no damage even if 3 mechs are shooting at you cause half of them are new players with max sensitivity and can't get more than 0.1 seconds of laser burn time on any one component.
