I´ve read the name "Vassago" a few times in this discussion, but can´t find anything from him.
Can anyone point me towards his Zaratustrian forecasts, by any chance?

Well, I've been here a while now, and I have to say that the MWO forums are like most other game forums I've been on, i.e. too often filled with negativity and hostility.

Your MOM is. #hatchetman4lyf

Eh - it's a game. An online game. An MM game. Probably half the players can't form full sentences or make eye-contact in real life. It is what it is.

So far, these boards have been REAL tame to what I've seen elsewhere.

What do you know, so am I. I have to train for Fallout 4 after all. Maybe I'll run into Vass in the Wasteland :). Maybe he could help me clear that quarry of Deathclaws, I'd share the Caps.

I find tese forums pretty mature and helpful, same with elder scrolls online which I also play. Now I also do play wow a bit.
Venturing into the forums of wow is like stepping into a kindergarden with the most annoying little rugrats you could possible meet, or a bunch of high school bullies. Though some seems helpful, but they are far between...

These forums are a nice vacation in comparison B)

My 2 cents:
These are the best, most calm, fun and passionate forums i have ever seen.
I actually partecipated in at least 2 nice discussions here, and have read countless more.
Furthermore, i never got directly insulted, which is as well a nice rare little thing.
If you want to have a glimpse of hell, go check Blizzard's forums.

Actually, let me thank all the Forum Warriors: one day i want to become one of you!

Has this thread been edited by a Mod?

I'm pretty sure I had a post deleted for replying to a comment, and I can't even find that comment now.

Neither of them were inflammatory to any degree, but I can't find them.

If it was edited by a Mod they need to do it on the up and up and not "disappear" things without notice. At least I'd ask that they do that.

Yes. There have been a ton of ninja deletions in this thread. Not edits, but straight deletions.

It's a rather annoying practice. Most forums will notify users when their posts are removed (with a transcript of the post, reason, etc) - or at least will have a mod post in a thread telling people they've cleaned it up when there's too much junk to send individual notices out.

Certain parts of this thread no longer make much sense as so much of the discourse has been cut completely.

I generally don't come here due to the wrong think, and crappy attitudes about a great game I enjoy.

Argh! Right in the pump! :P

Did I ever say anything about liking me? People can hate all the want, I just would like this place to be better, as in more constructive and positive.
If people with your attitude get their way this place will turn to hell when lots of new players used to the jargon of other FPS games comes here.
I really don't understand why so many think it's OK to behave like a scum-bag just because "rofl it's the intranetz!".

You are under heavy influence of totalitarian leftist media, I am afraid. Being "constructive and positive" is overrated, it is not an effective communication tool and it does not build character. If people with my attitude get our way the world would be a much better place than it is now.

I do not behave like a scumbag, because it's Internet. I do not behave like a scumbag at all, if you come to think of it. People can talk to me any way they want unless they stoop to outright insults, and I return the favor. But I do not like being chided by complete strangers for a certain behavior, which they do not find "nice enough". Giving obscure reasons why "your way" is better for the community just adds insult to injury.

Reason being is that we've received a few reports on this thread.

Some but not all have been removed, as per say we are still looking into the matter at hand.

That's all I can say for now, sorry about not replying sooner, should have (takes time trying to be a expert mod like Tue others >< )

To be clear on an earlier post, Vlad, you said that most forums with people backseating moderating is a banable defense.

These forums, mechwarrior online, is not one of those forums where one can be banned for backseat moderating.

In fact the only banable offense in simialrity is only as impersonating a PGI employee, which, is not the case.

With that cleared up, TLBfestus and Vlad (again) I can assure you that this isn't going to be "Niko" moderation, in fact, we aren't deleting the posts, we are removing them for further investigation(see earlier reply to Vlad above)

If anything I'm going to keep an eye on this thread and step in if necessary again to explain or stop things.

OK..don't ban me for this, but you have to admit what you said is unintentionally funny;
