Nothing really complicated honestly.
Decided to take my perfect grade Unicorn model and paint the psycho frame *the red bits if you don't know what it is* and green to effectively make the "unicorn awakening" version.

This version is canon to the series.

Should have gotten the LED kit instead. I know green is canon, but your green frame is too flat, and doesn't "pop" like the red.

I know but I wasn't looking for the LED kit. Found it hard to justify 120$ for something I'd probably light up a handful of times. I'd much rather get the full armor accessories instead.

Also wasn't really looking for something that would pop. Just something that would give out a nice green color.
A color that sadly, a phone's camera doesn't do it much justice.

Still, first time really repainting entire pieces of a kit and IMO came out decently well.

Looks nice.

I wonder what it'd look like in non canon camo.

Very nice work on the paint. I was about to post a multiple-paragraph nostalgiafest about how I wished they still made the durable rubbery-plastic figures as opposed to just the high-detail-yet-fragile models, but it turns out that they still make the durable ones as well as the nice collectible versions. Yay!

Also, the level of detail that I see in all the Unicorn mobile suits is insane. I can't wait to get there down the line, am about to work on 0083 though so it may be a while. I just hope that they still give the Zakus those DP-28 style rifles, War in the Pocket lost some of the Zaku aesthetic and charm when they took those away.

This is the real grade 1/144 Zaku II that was released a few years ago.
Anything you're looking for?

*snip*

I can't look at this, it's too amazing and my wallet is too empty! That thing looks great, but still durable which is what I'm looking for, and yeah it was the ZMP-50D that I was referring to. I think that the rifle and cyclops eye are what make the Zaku aesthetic.

I may have to start a wish list now, my bank account gives its' regards <_<

highlightings would help. (just google highlithign miniatures) t will give the green more depth, which it lacksdue to being rather dull compared to the red.

Good job man. I personally love the Unicorn Gundam. I own the fully equipped Unicorn, Banshee Norn, and gold Phenex model kits cuz it is that beast.

Probably could do that but blaming the camera again, the details in the green pieces are much more visible in person vs a phone's camera. Will look into that for future paint jobs.

;) *don't mind the fact I down't own the banshee norn since it was a p-banding BS*
Do plan on getting the PG Banshee norn tho.
The Unicorn Phenex also has the water slide decals applied....
