I'll check and let you know.
EDIT:
I messaged SeanLang (Phil) over at the No Guts No Galaxy forums. I let him know about the event and that we would like to use their server for the event. Also, if possible, to create a few temporary channels and grant you temporary admin privileges to move people into different channels if you needed to.
The channels would look something like
>Compete For The Cure Tournament
>>Waiting Room
>>Dropship 1
>>Dropship 2
If people showed up early, they can hang out in the Waiting Room. Participants can move to the Dropship channels for their respective matches.
Anyway, I'll let you know if it works out.
Excellent. Thanks.
If you want to help do some tests that would be great! I will be on streaming again at 8:30 pm EST.
UPDATE: Ascaloth! Your images are up on twitch! http://www.twitch.tv/monitorrobot

For helping test the twitch channel and the lobby system tonight.
As mentioned I will be recording the matches and putting the up on YouTube after the tournament.
How? I will be encoding at 1850 kb/s while the resolution is down-scaled (2.00) to 1280x720 using the Lanczos filter (best detail, 36 samples) at 30 FPS in the Open Broadcast Software (OBS). Aspect ratio is 16:9.
I am able to simultaneously record and stream on twitch at these settings without dropping any frames while playing in a 12 .v. 12 public match and without there being any lag or timing issues, or having the game/ streaming pause or shift abruptly during a match. After some major tinkering tonight these are the best settings that my system can handle offering me the ability to record at a high quality and stream simultaneously. The recordings from the tournament will be posted to YouTube at a later date and I want them to be as high quality as I can get without overtaxing my system and causing the stream to drop frames.
Here is what the recording will look like...

*Note: I did mess with the saturation a little in the YouTube editor. This preview video is more to show everyone the quality of the video.

New first rule of live-streaming on twitch:
Get a frigging fire extinguisher!
*facepalm* Should've installed more heatsinks...

Scout Derek, your Round #1 drop is at 3:15pm EST/EDT (my time) which would be 12:15pm PDT (your timezone time).
[But yes if you were dropping at 4:30pm EST that would be 1:30pm PDT.]

The colors of their logo are a light blue, yellow, and white.

If you want to paint your mechs feel free to do so, but it isn't a requirement. I do not have a personal preference.

Lets surpass our goals!
Help me get the word out on Facebook, twitter, reddit (maybe?), and other social media outlets!!
Remember for every $500 we raise I will hand out a 7 day premium time gift code to a random twitch viewer. [I really wish I could afford to do more.

Thanks again Ascaloth for providing some great artwork.

That is sub optimal on River City and Forest Colony, the drop zones for Alpha lances are quite on the opposite of the map resulting in a walking distance of 2 minutes.
Also I would like to know how we prevent on these maps abuse of the draw-but-most-damage rule. I can imagine someone picks a Locust with an ER LL and then just runs away after he hit the enemy once.
