[Bishop Steiner]

Fulfilling a request from our resident Screenshot King, Lordred. Mind you, neither are finished, both are WIPs (and the second in particular, the lettering is just a place holder, already got the font in mind)

Anyhow, Red wanted a CMD that suits his mission....pretty pictures of ugly combat.....so I came up with a "serious" MWO styled CMD for him first......

Yes, that IS a Sony Minicam on the left forearm and multiple camera?sensor domes all over it.

followed by a 3050 TRO inspired Siggy/Splash Page image for fun

And yes, the upper eyepiece is pointless...tis part of the sight gag.


Anyhow...I'm a few weeks away from my scanner and GIMP to finish them, but thought it would be a good time to collect input, critiques.

I always thought it would be a locust with a camera CT being the best "cam mech around" or a flea in awesome more oldscool camera style.

I've got some ideas for that, but I guess the CMD gives better unobstructed view, plus speed and small size. As long as I've known Red, he's been a CMD nut.

You should combine the two pictures:
In the first ist difficult to recognice the cameras.
In the second its not so clear, that this is a Commando (ca be a trooper in power armor).

Give the first picture the giant camera

I don't like small mechs as cameras, especially since the awesome is abled to serve as one at only 1,50x zoom.

But this is a cool piece of art!

yeah but AWS draws a LOT more fire, and is a lot slower getting to the action. Considering the volumes of proof that Lordred has posted, I'll let him decide what works best for playing Jimmy Olson, ya know?

Oh I am only talking about the staged videos I am usually filming. If he is using the CMD for real pug games, it might be a better idea.

Yea he shoots photos in pug games so he prefers the tiny Commando because no one blinks an eye at him.

Heck, I brought my COM-1B out of retirement today because I did something really dumb and died really early in my COM-2D.

Heck, those 1Bs with the 240 rating engine, so fast that they hold up better then the slower 2D with ECM.

Need classic Commando head geometry in this game, even if it'd make no sense in comparison to the 'mechs cockpit view.
