I just played it yesterday and had a great match.

2 planets were contested, the one I was fighting on had 99+ players attacking and 99+ defending.

People on were decent at teamwork, and the match went off without a hitch.

However, it does need A LOT OF improvement. I'm still waiting to hear about CW Phase 3.

I got all excited about attending this awesome party that CW invited me to, only to arrive and find there were no snacks, the beer was warm and 90% of the people there were azzhats.

I left and went back to the Pub.

Been doing drops here and there solo. It's awful and no one understands that clan weapons out range IS weapons and that peekaboo at chokepoints is death.

Even when there's only about 50 people playing.

SIgh I just gave up on CW and went back to playing MechWarrior4Mercinaries on GameRanger until they(PGI/Russ decide not to starve the community of C-bills and make CW worth playing even with premium time it sucks and it ends 90% in a ROFL COPTER STOMP.

I'm pretty sure the dropships and ghost drops scared people away.

what scared most people away I think was 12 man e-sporty groups go up against people who simply want to play the game-; at least semi competitively.

going over a ridge and 72 large lasers from stalkers firing at me is not what I call fun- that level of communication wasn't present in BT either or any MW game to date- I wouldn't mind if the people stay. I support E-sports for the people who want it and the meta folk and such. But what I do not support is having them seal club smaller units, large non meta units, or pugs.

When you have a football game at school when you are 7 years old (american or not), you do not have the top 12 people in the world come in to your school and try hard heavily into the game.

It isn't fair on EITHER of the groups- after awhile of 'sealclubbing' the e-sport/ meta folk get tired. It isn't a game for them anymore or a match- it is just quick c-bills while they wait for the other 12 man group from another unit to join them in a private match of sync drop in CW.

Personally I do not think the e-sports should be held in CW and I think that a lance (4 people) is the max a person could drop in or 8 (exact) if you put c-bills from coffers for the dropship service. Would at least let the smaller groups a chance as well as let them play along side the meta players. Ie the tukayiid event- it was so heavily contested by all factions that it was mainly small unit vs small unit+ pugs. it went well, team work has happened. fun occurred. people still played the event after they got the prizes they want because it was fun and not because they are grinding.

It was the first time I enjoyed the game consecutively every match for days regardless of heavy win streaks or losses. Because it was a good game all around.

Battles for planets took days to weeks (and yes even some months and years too) to fight for. We get 8hrs to do the same thing. We need Huge maps [even if its unpopular, people want quick matches go pub que. CW is supposed to be 'hard mode'] (takes 30-45 minutes for the fastest mech to cross from corner to corner) that didnt have fixed DZ's (3 posible drop zones for each side but randomly generated by MM) with no time limit (Eliminate other sides mechs) no objectives that determine win but completing Primary,Secondary,Tertiary, etc increases end game pay outs for both sides (winners get 100%+25%[from the other teams lost 50%] and losers get 50% (the other team gets 25% from the 'lost 50%) of the payout for completing objectives) at the end of 24hrs side with most wins gets planet (Unit with most wins on winning side gets planetary tag and after a 7 day period (except for 1st period.Example: Today is friday and the day you chose to get 'paid' is wednesday. The Wednesday 5 days away would not be 'pay day' but the following Wednesday would providing a 1st Period pay out from 12 days (Fri-1st Wed=5+7day period)) a Planetary Resources Payout from each planet Tagged in a period (day 1 2 planets tagged day 2 1 day 3 3 day 4 0 (lost all 3 planets from day 3) day 5 2 Day 6 2 day 7 1 for 11 planet payouts) which is paid in CBills. Unit lead (and 2 others) can pay out to members Individually or automatically (auto pay would either track individuals performance and pays from that or a flat 'salary' thats a percentage of the overall payout that the Unit leader sets). Each planet also should make use of planetary conditions to add difficulties (gravity changes mech movement, ambient temps adjusts heating and cooling (hot planet ups heat & slows cooling, cold drops heat & speeds cooling)) using Terra as a baseline. Allow Units to have Friendlies,Allies,Neutrals,Watched & Enemies lists that allow and deny units certain actions (Free passage, mutual defenses, jump point use and denial, and Red Alerts) so that this game will be the Thinking Persons MechWarrior instead of CoD:Mech Shampooing we have now. The e-sporters for competing like what WoT has should be separate from rest of the game. A Unit goes E-sport they play other ESporties exclusively

it shows gamelay is not too bad, but incentives don't lure people in properly outside events. And especially non CW events drag off even more people.

There is this thing called paragraphs, you should look into it (I say this because while your content is solid, the presentation is balls).

I used ellipses and brackets proper (because Im taking you aside inside elipsii which is like a naration, ya dig? Its a authoric cheap shot I know but Vonnegut isnt always proper neither), my faux pas. Pate Foie Gras. *tilts head side ways*
