No what I am saying is I don't like the way it went and it could be adjusted in the future to make it fair. Here I'll simplify it:
I think that the -35 time penalty is unfair. I think you should remove it in the future because not everyone is sitting in a corner for 5 minutes waiting to steal kills.

Why am I doing this now? That's a good question. This community did just attack me for no apparent reason other than I'm acting childish. Cyber bullying? It doesn't matter. I directed it to Scout Derek, not the 5 glorified angels who spout blessings of truth at me.

Never mind it was around 3 angels.

It turned into "Your opinion is stupid, and your making this community burn soooooo yeah. I'm done."

I guess before you guys attacked F8sealed you should have actually READ what he said in his first post. He clearly stated that he POSTED his scores before he left for JRTC which was also before the FORMULA was posted . He was at JRTC for nearly 40 days, with his unit having orders for no internet or cell phone usage, so it would have been pretty hard to check in and update his scores or check the rules. He was just explaining that he believes it was unfair to not have been aware of this formula in the beginning. Instead of jumping down his throat, perhaps you should have asked him why he felt he was screwed over by circumstances instead of ASSUMING he was whining like a little child. To Be Honest, after reading this exchange, I wouldn't want to be part of this community. I would suggest you have the formula and rules in place before you start a fun tournament again to keep this from happening in the future.

KingOfHearts13 you have a fair point, and I'm sorry he missed out. but Derek's post was an explanation, and the next few, mine included, never mentioned F8 let alone attacked him.

F8 then proceeds to attack Derek and all the good work he's done bringing us these contests, and for that I'll stand up and defend him.

I did not attack him, I pointed out that the time penalty didn't make any sense. Attacking him would be harassment and even then you should have reported it to PGI. It says right there in the code of conduct. No but go ahead and defend him.

That's truly my bad Doman, thanks for pointing it out. I should have been clearer when I was speaking of those attacking, it was really only a couple that were rude. I apologize to those I may have offended. Yes, Derek did a great job in his explanation and I agree with you to defend him. I guess that I was just trying to point out that he wrote that he was away and not able to update. In any case, it still doesn't change the results

Everyone needs to cool down. First off, this is Derek's giveaway. Secondly, someone is bound to lose out. Third, RL gets in the way (Derek not getting the formula out earlier, F8 going away coz of job, Derek falling sick, etc).

Instead of attacking Derek's formula, why not just explain via PM to Derek about the RL constraints he encountered in not being able to update his screenshots in time to better reflect his best score according to the formula?

Instead, we're attacking each other, for a digital content giveaway/prize. CHILL! Derek's the god here. He decides the rules of the giveaway and whether to relax them on certain conditions.

i can post my excel sheet if you want, have all scores in there until the 20th, even f8s from back then. But beside I don't want to give false numbers because my math could be wrong I don't want to spoil this for derek

What did I do wrong? I feel that you're bashing me because of RL situations that cause unfair situations.
