The American players are more aggressive, but that's not always a good thing.

Yeah I have a problem with extremists that try to subvert their way of life into any country they migrate to. Seen Sweden lately? or London? Or believe it or not parts of the US? Liberal progressives are a disease. And for the record? The internet is my main source of news, not cable television, that being said I'm old enough to know better than to support a party whose only goal is to expand government and turn the US into a socialist shithole.
You mean those poor, poor souls overburdened with ready, and affordable, access to higher learning and medical care? Where the average standard of living eclipses that here in the US? That nightmare?
Don't worry though, reactionary regressives always lose, sometimes it takes a while, but it always happens.
Now where do these hilarious presidential, and ambassadorial thank you Ben, pictures come from and how did I not know they were a thing?

The internet, of course!
The specific search terms I'm using are "badass presidents."

More specifically the characters who say: "no guns on a scientific mission," and try to pet the alien creature that looks like a cobra.
They stand wayyy in the back row, as if they're uncomfortable with the notion of playing a game that allows them to use firearms of any type. And deathly afraid of the possibility of being shot.
Americans tend to be more proud of their 2nd amendment and are far better equipped to cope with a zombie apocalypse.

More than that the point in a shooter is to shoot at the enemy team. It's quite difficult to do that when one is cowering behind a hill/building or refuses to take more than 2 steps from where they dropped into a map. You're not helping your team by not shooting at the enemy or at the least getting some targeting data.

I'm too lazy to try to photoshop it, so here's Andrew Jackson instead.

The Walking Dead have proven the Murica is as incapable of handling Juan of the Zombies as Cuba is...

Anyway. Yes, I notice that more US players are straightforward and brawlish. Nothing bad about it when it works, but to outgun the enemy this way you need much better players than what the enemies have and that is something I doubt US guys have.

The EU Pugland consists of a bunch of Predator wannabes that sit in trees, or behind hills, or around the corner of buildings, with a murderous crossfire set up. I can look around, and if it weren't for the blue triangles, I'd be unable to see any of them. At which point, my job becomes Tip of the Spear, Bait, etc, to try and pull the enemy team into an engagement so the team can get something to shoot at (i.e. Play the Offense).
Both Play styles are perfectly valid, and I just have to vary my tactics accordingly. And when I get a home game, I find that the team either roflcopters around, starting a bunch of bar fights everywhere, or we get a super focussed team that is not drunk or stoned, and we go hard core on whatever the objective happens to be.

CS is probably more influential in the UK, but for Russia and Germany, that would be World of Tanks. Which has proclivity for camping and sniping, not to mention strikes and peek n booms. Both countries have a strong historical lore on tanks, which helps lure players into tank games, and from there, games that involve large machines and vehicular combat. War Thunder hails from Russia and the upcoming Dreadnaught game is being developed in Germany, and there are significant players of both countries in EvE Online. It also helps that both countries have youth that are inclined to scifi, fantasy, and strategy.
Asian players are also heavily influenced by both CS and WoT. Both games reinforce the same habit, especially if players are involved in both games.

Again, very heavily influenced by games like CoH and BF.

Common also to FPS but expecially to WoT and War Thunder.
A common tactic like to use a light mech such as a Raven, or Firestarter, to hide behind a rock or a wall, peek out, shoot lasers, then hide back in --- this is a common playstyle with players on tank games, especially with large Soviet heavy tanks.
