sorry but i had no idea where to put this

i bought a gift from the GIFT STORE and it immediately redeemed it on my account, which is a mistake as i wanted the gift code not the items on my account. no idea what to do

I've never used the gift section of the store, but what you're describing sounds an awful lot like the regular store. Are you sure when you purchased you were under the "Gifts" section?

Edit:

From what I've heard, all gift purchases get emailed as a code, so they can't be applied to your account unless you enter the code.

Try contacting support. Maybe billing@mwomercs.com

Edit 2:

I just visited the Phoenix Hawk page from the gifts section. There's a "Gift ->" button just below the image carousel. Did you click that button (on whichever page you were trying to gift)?

Looks like you have to click the image of the mech (on the gifts page) not "Click for details".

It sounds like you bought the stuff from the regular Store.
The gift store looks like this. It would send an email to the account associated with your login and then you'd take that code and give it to someone you wanted to give the gift to.

Contact support. Specifically the Billing email.
