Just beat them next time they are on the red team. Winning is possible you know.

True, but so is winning the powerball. Even though the odds are better than that, it doesn't mean I want to play that game.

I wouldn't know. I quit that pile of dren when Grim Portico came out. I still see zero reason to play that game or playstyle.

lr's (edit: light rushes) are the epitome of all that is wrong with players in this game. Players, not the game itself.

I didnt realize the group queue was for 1337 units only. Yea, I guess we should apologize for ruining your group queue with our non-cheese mechs

So,
I'm sorry! Can you please forgive us for wanting to play with the big boys?

The only thing you can say to such people is:

YOUR WELLCOME... Would you like another?

lr's?

If that was a typo for "LRM's" gotta say you nailed the reason this game's dying and fast. Players that agree with your statement.

Waitaminute.

Does the mute icon work for text as well as voice?

(plz plz plz)

Is it persistent, or just "in this match"?

(plz plz plz).

I've not yet come across anyone so obnoxious on voicecomms that I've felt the need to mute them, but there are a few individuals I encounter fairly regularly who spew insults into the text chat pretty much from match start who I could stand to hear less from.

It doesn't work for text, but you can turn off all chat or variations of chat like All, Team, or Lance by going into Settings. I have All chat disabled. It's under the Game tab and then Notifications at the bottom.

Muting people is only for that match. It sucks, but you probably won't see the same person match after match anyway.

So... These tryhards are the bad guys?

Not really "bad" per say... Just different. The problem becomes noticeable when their arrogance trumps their individual contributions.

The same can be said for PUG Queue as well. Always the loud mouth is that guy who Rambo'd to death in 35s and it is always everyone else's fault. Pretty sure it is not exclusive to CW 12 man's, sadly. ;)

See that's a shame. I like to have chat enabled; I want to be able to say thanks for the match, or congratulate someone who did well, or answer a question or just say hello to a familiar name. Equally, I want to be able to talk to my team and to co-ordinate. I'm not turning that off just because of a couple of dingbats like to play keyboard warrior.

And unless I pause between matches (which I do, sometimes) then it's not at all unusual for me to have 2-3 matches in a row where 3-4 of the same people are in each match.

I wanna be able to hold TAB key, select a player with the mouse cursor, and BLOCK any/all text and voice, and be barred from being on that player's team. Forthwith, in perpetuity.

Like those two D-bags on Forest Colony last night. Suicided just to ensure I never do anything to assist them in any way ever.

Game's great. Players? Not always...

I like the ignore function in DCUO. If a player goes on your ignore list, you never see or hear or play with them again. But then again, they have slow time populations measured in 6 figures, so... there's that.

I will add to the entire thread for everyone,

There are also a lot of large groups/units, or at least members of such, who are great folks to play with, in fact the good ones are likely more common that the a-holes
