The timing on the event just sucks for Marik. We usually can't get a single 12 man together. Now there is this with no notice and a very narrow window in the middle of the work week.

On the bright side, look at that subforum, it seems they are planning on making this a regular thing (sub-sub-forums for each faction). Or wishful thinking...

Not enough incentive to queue CW. Sorry.

The idea of using lore elements is long over due. That is what I like about what these Intercepts could represent in the future.

But for the future, these might need to be something available over a week's time to include more casual players.

We got one going but you need at least 3 and then you have to hope the pugs dont get killed to fast. In the end you're still fighting clan mechs...... No thanks Maybe they will do an IS v IS event soon.

I won't complain - it's something and that's significantly better than nothing.

I appreciate the investment from PGI.

Interesting. Since it locks them both to a single available attack path it might help with the wait times. Probably an experiment to determine how much time to match changes.

I think you might be onto something here EgoSlayer.

I just took a Liao 7-day on a whim because of this, but given that we're still only 30+ people queued up on Sarna really says that CW is dying a painful death right now.

who holds sarna atm, davion?

So if we deny Liao the world and the players the 300Mc, does that count as griefing other players?

Somewhere in the 10 - 20 million cbill reward zone is what it would take for me to participate in this cw experiment.

We denied it in our timezone. Hard fought from Liao but The Sun and Sword had a well powdered pimping glove and a round slapping was delivered.

This looks like PGI is experimenting with ways to bring people to CW.

I think this is cool. These types of mini events are what is needed to help add immersion.

I mean 4mil Cbills to get a victory in provided Marik controls the planet at some point? That's some incentive right there.

300MC is 2 single shot faction camos, a mechbay, or just save it. At this rate PGI is giving away enough MC injections here and there, than someone could pickup a hero or champ with it.

I look forward to more of these in the future.

I wish we had such a thing with unit money possible, wher eunits can place Bounties on attackable planets or defendebly planets. This way units can affect the "course" how other units and PUGS behave in CW. Also moneywise CW would get more attractive to the newbies.

Really? In the Blood Money event you had to grind for a week in a Mech you paid real money for to get 20 mil but you really demand 20 mil now for (if lucky) dropping just 1 time in CW, take a win and your faction does the rest?

People should stay/be realistic about that. 4 mil CB or 300 MC may be not the biggest prizes around here, but if this happens on a regular basis to channel CW a bit to cut down waiting times and add some fluff, it is impossible to give away higher rewards. If PGI would give away the amount of MC and CB demanded here it might be the end to their business model as nobody needs to pay for anything anymore, because you can get everything for free in CW.

Mini-events for CW are nice, but its really not all that helpful when the game mode itself is a somehow worse than the normal game that's been around for 3 years.

Time to actually start putting some work into making CW interesting so people want to play it.

I just think it's nice to have an actual CW event after these last few events. Also, I can see the short notice thing being a design choice, trying to keep large mercenary groups from faction hopping to take advantage of the event, whilest giving loyalist and freelancers oppourtunities to shine.

Its not for Kurita, (Or Smoke Jags) but I'm completely okay with this! Adds a little something to a game mode I'm almost exclusively playing anyway.

They should have done something like this a while ago.
